    The new OP's music is alot better than the last one, but I think the animation/screenplay in it is pretty underwhelming.

    Also, finally, the Arc is getting under way.

    Which is kinda impossible considering that she died right after giving birth and Luffy is younger. Unless of course, Luffy is the child of a zombie and the whole Gecko Moria arc was just epic foreshadowing.

    Although, a parent with a faked death would not be a totally surprising plot twist in this series.

    No, just implied with him and Luffy calling each other brothers.

    Plus, the fact that he hates his dad makes more sense if his dad abandoned him to play revolutionary instead of his dad being executed before he was even born. Unless there's more backstory there, it's not really Gold Roger's fault he wasn't around for Ace.
