    TV: Cougar Town

So, i recently started watching this after accidentally seeing an episode on TV, and i was totally expecting this to be kind of a Desperate Housewives type deal but i gotta say, this show is fucking excellent, not to mention hilarious!

I strongly recommend everyone to watch a couple of episodes and give this a try.

I think the characters try too hard to be snarky, or have a personality that no one would like. If I had to dwell in the same atmosphere as them I would probably prank them every day. I hate all of them except the old cougar.

When did the term "cougar" become popular terminology for over 40 sexually active women? Seems to be fairly recently.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

I think the other half of the term means they have sex with young men. I started hearing it get popular after... Dr. Phil a few years ago?!

Weird, I only started hearing it used in the last few weeks. I guess I should watch more TV, but I won't.

Now you're making me feel like a loser Ani. ! I watched it on Youtube, if that helps? Or does that make me more pathetic?

I actually admire Cox (that's what she said) for her diverse acting skills. I don't like her character though. After the old cougar, I think I hate the snarky high school kid the least. The snarky across the street neighbor isn't so bad either, since he seems to be suffering from the craziness of the neighborhood as much as a normal person would.

Nah, what else should a 12 year old do instead of watching mildly suggestive TV shows about the sordid going-ons of your average suburban neighborhood? I guess you could be learning karate or how to play guitar. Not sure what else pre-teens do with their time.
