Finally hit lvl 30 about a week or so ago, moved on from shen and now started to play amumu. God I love his ultimate. Next ill try akali once I work out a starter build for her and once I have enough IP to buy her runes.

I've been playing Swain quite a bit. Most of the people on the LoL forum complains that's he's either underpowered or overpowredbut i feel like he's actually very balanced.
I found that he fit the support role better since he tend to be very fragile late game. Swain W is one of those ability that will net your team many kills if use properly.
My kill to death ratio with him have mostly been positive. In fact, i ended one game versus a terrible team with 30/2/12.
Swains really really weak. They're buffing his AP ratios like crazy in the next patch. Most of his were like .6 or .7 and they're bumping them to .9
His ult will also heal more now. Swains pretty useless though, once he uses his ult to keep himself in the fight. It uses sooo much mana.
His ultimate does use a lot of mana but i found that having the team help you get blue buff or having an Archangel staff help toward that cost quite a bit.
In a team fight you shouldn't be in a position to where it's required to have your ultimate up for the entire duration to say alive. I usually throw a DOT, Root the carries, laserbird someone for dmg then pop ultimate and back off a bit. He's one of the those champion that requires your team to be competent because 2 of his abilities are CC effects. I won't complain about his AP being buff, but i find that it's not too difficult to get kills even in ranked games so that just might lead to more OP crying.
I don't think the healing on his ult should be increase, what they should do is increase the base damage and lower the heal percentage to keep it around the same level.
His E giving teamate half the amount of % damage increase that swain gets would be nice though.
But the thing is he suffers from the same syndrome as Urgot. Sure he may CC one or two targets but after that, he's so insignificant that there's no point. He doesn't do enough damage and while his Q and E might sound good on paper, they're not that great in practice.
I rarely see Swain in ranked, but when I do they always amount to little less than feeding. What would've been nice was if his E actually did what it said it would in the Champion Spotlight.
Oh jeez, Swain has been out for about a week and theres already a preview for a new champion.

I do see what you mean about Swain damage though, because i start to stagnate around level 12 or so. My only worry about buffing is that it might make his early game damage too good and then he'll just get a harder nerf in the following patch.
Been getting pretty heavily into Sona lately as it suits my play style to support the team at the back and rack up the assists. I can do more damage than I imagined too, if I build it right.
Normally I go for the team buff items like Innervating Locket, Aegis of the Legion and Soul Shroud. Once I hit 40% CDR I can have all 3 auras up at once, and I've found it can really turn the tide of battle.
Lately I've been going about 5/3/25-35 with a competent team. Maybe I've been lucky but I hardly ever lose a game with her. Lovin' it.

gotta love volley spam, its *so annoying* for the enemy team, I can't even describe it.
Been playing Lux since she came out, I was so bad at first but now im at least not get more deaths then kills. She is fun as hell to use. Next character im thinking of buying might be Vlad or Miss Fortune.

Every match takes about 30 mins more or less, i wouldn`t consider it something for work.

Some games can take upwards of an hour+. Those don't happen that often, but it's not out of the ordinary.
hehe, I've already played 2 games today at work... both took 30min or so... They were against NPCs though. I bet I'd piss some people off by joining an official match and then going AFK.

up to lvl 2 now. Have played as Ashe so far. Not sure what other characters I should try and play. Thinking of sticking to female characters for now though...
