I droped that show midway last season. It was really too boring to continue watching, at least to me.

All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.
I just marathoned this to the end.
What can I say? It was absolutely awesome. I can't believe they managed to flesh out and use up the extremely large cast. Amazing. This show needs to be watched in one sitting. Too many things happen to too many people to keep track of on a weekly basis, but if you watch it straight, you'll see how intricately woven the story is from dozens of finer plot and character threads. The foreshadowing was excellent, and the climax climactic. Everything got tied up properly, despite how dangerously close it came to dangling everything all over the place. Magical black glue literally pasted everything together at the very end.
Shinra X Celty is the best couple in anime period.
I will avoid spoiling until I see others watch this gem to the end. Trust me, it's worth way more than one weekend of your life.
Peace.
The series would have been better if Mikado and Masaomi weren't main characters this time around. Their character arc ended 5 years ago as far as I'm concerned. Their arc was just a rehash of what already happened with them before. I wanted to drop the series every week they were the main focus of an episode.
The rest of it was good, if not great. But those two were terrible.
Finally managed to finish the first series. In all, I had a much better impression when I first tried it 6 years ago, I had stopped on episode 11. Never came back around to finish it.
Still a good watch, but just thought it was going to be much better once I returned to it. Not sure when I'll continue with the sequels, but it should be a while since not really in the mood to continue.
I wish we'd get more Baccano!.
