Errrr...The official website of the Baka to Test to Shōkanjū (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts) anime series reports on April 1 that production on a sequel has been green-lit.

Oh, and theyfinished the show with an obvious plothole (Yoshii races to the director´s room, and suddenly, all his friends are there before him), not that it matters.

I thought it was excellent. It had a lot of new comedy styles or modifications to tried and tested methods. The shaft art also complemented the series well, unlike Bund. This anime is also very character centric (which I love in anime), and manages to create so many hilarious and interesting characters.

just asking, but what about a 2nd season? This was on of the few actually funny comedy-shows, but neither the last nor the upcoming season have it. nothing planned?
There will be a second season, but it doesn't air until 2011. An OVA will be released before it starts.

Subs stopped being displayed after half of the episode. Well, this show uses rather simple Japanese, so it wasnt hard to follow anyway.
Solid episode, but not special. I guess the creators wanted to make a safe entrance into the new season.

Something is wrong with your codecs then. I didn't encounter that problem. 45 comments and no one else has mentioned anything like that ether.
