Well, what I'm thinking is that Ichigo just barely beat Kenpachi and Byakyua before he got whooped be Aizen, and he still doesn't seem much stronger than them (K & B). Unless suddenly Kenpachi and Byakua could take Aizen (without Aizen's shikai fun), Aizen should still be un-approachably stronger than Ichihgo. Aizen didn't beat Ichigo with tricks, he was just stronger than him, in the way that we humans are stronger than ants.Originally Posted by FireEmblem
When man invented the bicycle he reached the peak of his attainments. Here was a machine of precision and balance for the convenience of man. And (unlike subsequent inventions for man's convenience) the more he used it, the fitter his body became. Here, for once, was a product of man's brain that was entirely beneficial to those who used it, and of no harm or irritation to others. Progress should have stopped when man invented the bicycle. ~Elizabeth West, Hovel in theHills
If you watch the kenpachi fight its obvious he didn't really beat him, Kenpachi just got overly excited, he was just having fun.
He was far more serious when fighting tousen and even then he was having fun. The only time we've seen him get actually serious was pretty much in the last 5 seconds of his fight with noitora.
And Byakuya was fighting with honor, never using senkei to fuck him up instantly only using one sword instead, or using gokei, he couldve used byakurai to blast his face off, yet he shot him in the shoulder, heck he hardly used any kidou at all etc..
Byakuya said ichigo won because he saw the similarities between ichigo's motivations and those of shiba kaien, and then realized he was wrong.
If anything him flashstepping away, while ichigo couldn't even move should be evidence enough of who won the physical fight, not the moral one.

Really I don't understand this. Ichigo had his entire Shihakusho intact after the fight with Byakuya. So he didn't lose even a bit of Reiatsu during the fight? The same is true when Aizen beat him with one finger. So I am not really sure what kind of chance he stands if Aizen has already defeated him in such a manner with all his reiatsu (reiatsu that didn't deplete a bit with after his fight against Byakuya???!!).

Ichigo charging at Aizen with all of his reiatsu supposedly....
Really Kubo just came up with this idea all of a sudden without any thought as to what he had already written before. Unless it is the case that Ichigo was such a terrible fighter back then that he got beat up and exhausted much prior to depleting ANY of his reiatsu.
I thought that the Shihakusho part just meant that Ichigo run away from Orihme's healing half way through and she didn't have time to restore his entire outfit (and power).
sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.
You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.
