I wasn't too thrilled with the voice casting either but i never liked Magellan's character anyway
So i guess the new movie will be officially canon? I mean the plot was completely written by Oda and now they even added him to the anime itself.
Yeah they didn't have like the usual over-the-top Luffy reactions when he is amazed. That was pretty weird.

If they're going to introduce that Shiki the Golden Lion guy, they could have made the filler about his escape 20 years ago... Actually, I guess the movie is going to be about that. He was mentioned in the manga too.

They're doing alot of that lately. Offhandedly mentioning big pirates from the previous generation like Fisher Tiger.
