I think this was a bit weak first episode. There are first episodes that don't reveal overly much on purpose like DtB's and then there are first episodes that just fail to reveal enough to make the story interesting. This one felt much too slow bordering boring with too much attention paid to Yuka who can't yet be important enough with the show barely launched. I'd say the story itself might have lots of potential but the director failed with this opening episode.

At least the effects were nice. Made me recall the atmosphere alterations of Oblivion in Elder Scrolls...

Nasty school nurse, though. Bloody smoking in the infirmary reserved for the sick.

Somehow I was reminded of Persona 3 lots of times.
The guy resembles Minato with the hairstyle.
The change of atmosphere resembles the Dark Hour, only blood red.
    The moon seems important.
The monsters reminded me of shadows.

Lets see how episode 2 turns out.

Lol i know right?? I got the persona feel the moment the angel with the chains popped up out of her back and it just kept going through the rest of the episode

I see real potential here, can't wait for episode 2

I guess 11 Eyes means, the 5 harem girls pair of eyes + the protagonist's one equaling 11. Yeah, I know I'm a genius =/

Your insight is unrivaled. That changed my whole perspective of this series.

After the 1/4th of the way through the episode, I was going to drop this. Then the reality-bending happened, leaving me with {wtf??} in my head.

It's grabbed my attention enough to sift through the next episode at least, but I'll most likely give up on this if it turns out too generic.

    Next up:
    HorribleSubs - episode 2

SFW is doing this too. I'll wait to see if their releases follow a weekly schedule before I grab those, since they tend to fall behind.

This show seems like it's the bastard child of Night Wizard and Rental Magica with a small DNA contribution from Chaos; Head. While I'm still hopeful it will be somewhat interesting in the short term even if it's unoriginal at its core I suspect it will suffer the same sort of weak ending that many of its peers demonstrated. I'll probably pull through to the end though just to see what they come up with this time.

This barely passes at being interesting. Everything just feels so generic and used, and it seems like the producers knew it and put in the fitting amount of effort to complete this.

The best thing in this show is the logo.

That said, I'll probably download episode 3.

I don't get the hate for this show

Sure it's not anything we haven't heard of before, but the whole circumstances and mystery surrounding the main character and the whole plot has so far been doing a good job in keeping me interested

    SFW - episode 03

I don't know why I'm watching this, but I am. This is the third time. I refuse to acknowledge this as being good. Yet I'm watching...

I think it sucks but I still watch it, but that is mainly because I am indiscriminate when it comes to new anime. I watch practically anything excluding Yaoi and magical girls.

Except for Nanoha and her gang (because they are awesome), no not really.

While I love loli, I am very picky as well. It is like loving food. The more you like it, the more discriminating you become, like a gourmet. I dislike irritating and noisy ones, like most Rie Kugimiya characters mostly because I grew tired of them over time (prepares to be burned by Archie's flames), and also the cliche innocent ones with not much else going for them, like most mahou shoujo lolis.

I actually thought of changing my title to Loli Gourmet for moment, then decided not to so as not to ruin my reputation any more than I have already with this post.

It isn't bad by itself, but I have watched way too many anime (like Yuki said, Rental Magica, Night Wizard, Chaos Head, and to add to that Amatsuki) with the same setting, same characters, same plot, same well, everything. It basically has nothing original, while in some shows you at least find one original element. Due to this, I really don't find it that interesting or worthwhile anymore.

I must admit... Im watching this because it has a LOT of influence from Persona 3. I dunno about Yuki's parallels, since I never saw any of them. But this show keeps yelling Dark Hour, Shadows and Minato.

Heck... every time they say they hope for Kakeru to awaken his powers I expect Orpheus or Thanatos to appear yelling "I am thou and thou art I" or even "I am a shadow, the true self"
