I am definitely following this series! The first ep was great.

"Chrono is our Religion. In the name of the Chrono, the Zeal, the Trigger and Cross, Amen."

    that was good!

i thought i wouldn't like the animation, but i actually really liked it.

man i loved the use of super-deformed. it reminds me of Otoboku. it's just used so well here.

dang i really liked Sawako's character. how she was this super socially awkward/rejected chick who was really nice and entirely positive. man, i thought the dude was gonna confess...

it kinda deals with serious issues, like her being bullied. but it's such a light-hearted, fun to watch comedic series.. i think i'll enjoy this.

    This episode makes me feel:

Sawako is so hopelessly selfless and good natured, it's hard not to be drawn in.

Yano and Yoshida were great too. I definitely hadn't heard Miyuki Sawashiro that way before (she usually plays the breathy heroines), and Yuko Sanpei usually plays boys (Renton from E7). Mamiko Noto nailed Sawako perfectly.

This series might challenge ARIA for that special warm place in my heart.

SFW may start doing 720p releases instead. I'm the encoder on this project.

I hear Eclipse is picking up this series too.

Man, this is easily my favorite of the new fall shows I've watched so far. I loved it. Mamiko Noto as Sawako is perfect to me. I loved her work as Yell (Akikan!) and as Kotomi (Clannad).

The character designs easily reminds me of Koukou Debut. I like it.

This first episode really drew me in as well. Definitely going to keep up with it. Really like the characters. And reference to the Ring was hilarious.

I completely agree. They work really well in shoujo series where the feelings, thoughts and expressions play a big role.

What a fast series this seems to be. Might be all the shounen I've watched lately (and some labeled seinen but still 90% shounen in reality) that makes this feel so rapid. But it indeed was almost like a confession in the first episode. Not a bad thing, of course, seeing how it will place the emphasis on other things than the preconfession stuff. Though I'm not saying they couldn't stretch this for a bit still.

Very good, very good indeed. A refreshing series.

Hrmm, each of the three groups translates Kazehaya's personality differently.

    SFW - Refreshing
    FMS - Pleasant
    Eclipse - Lively

    Which do you prefer?

So is Sawako's name translated differently as well?

Sawayaka means refreshing, but that is generally not used to describe a person in English, so the other groups used similar words that are more apt for people. Lively seems a bit off though. If anything, Kazehaya seems quite relaxed.

This is a very beautiful series. I'm really impressed by it for some reason. At least by the first 2 episodes, lol.

Hmmm my first shoujo ... i find it relaxing

But the order seems reversed; the girl was the first to like the boy and we had a "confession" on the first episode, it's like bizarro world or something

Just 1 thing, i don't want to sounds like an asshole or anything but i found her smile in the last moments to be creepy as hell :x

Yeah, I also thought there's some temporal anomaly in this episode. The first episode had that almost confession but suddenly the beginning of this episode had taken whole steps backwards. Fortunately it seemed to reach a point somewhat close to the ending of the first episode towards the end. I hope the beginning of the third episode won't take again steps back...

I really like this series so far. Sometimes Sadako's creepiness feels quite forced by the plot, but if you ignore that there are lots of really nice scenes here. I like the destined couple feeling as well (the only kind of romance setting I really ever wish to see), and I hope there won't be any serious triangles in this series.
