dang.. since a raw was out 14 hours before CR streamed this for subscribed members, i was really really hoping a speedsub group would get a sub out a considerable amount of time before CR with their "simulcasting"..

This episode was dumb. I liked it, but it may have harmed my intelligence in one way or another.
While the series is definitely funny, the OP and the promo led me to believe the series was a little more serious. I almost feel more ashamed that I'm following this than the fact I keep watching Queen's Blade...almost.

In my opinion, yes. They have OP and ED karaoke and the subs aren't just rips slapped onto an upscaled raw.

I was comparing them to Quality, which are just straight rips with no changes at all.

episode was okay..
Ikaros reminds me of Chi from Chobits. and not just because of the ear things. It was the way she was mimicking in this episode to learn things... though the overall show does not remind me of Chobits, at all.

There is certainly room for comparison with Chobits. Serious elements are starting to creep into the series, and it seems to be shifting from stupid (but enjoyable) humor to a deeper plot. Chobits got very serious in the latter half, so I wonder if this will take a similar direction.
If the disturbance that leads to the New World is centered on the city, and Ikaros can't see it, and it doesn't appear in the night sky any more, I wonder if the disturbance is Ikaros.
I don't really get why she likes the watermelon so much, but it is a nice quirk that she can grow into a personality.
Oh come on there were flocks of flying panties on episode 2, just how are they supposed to evolve to anything serious after that point?
