Kodansha posted the following promotional video of the Fairy Tail manga's special "Yōsei Gakuen Yankee-kun to Yankee-chan" anime DVD, which will be bundled with the manga's 27th volume on June 17. The special features the characters from Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail fantasy adventure series parodying tropes from school comedy stories such as Yankee-kun to Megane-chan.

Hmm.. it's interesting, and I can see it working out - but then you have to wonder at why he wouldn't have suggested that he use the car in the first place.

Well, in that instance, he wouldn't have his own vehicle. They'd steal one from the badguys and all of a sudden he's surprise awesome.
That was unexpected.. and a VERY nice twist. Great episode. There are enough bad guys that need a smack in the face atm.. Gajeel is making his move and I hope Natsu will be able to use magic soon.
So I'm guessing Mystrogan's magic pills are what's allowing Lucy and Garjeel to use their magic here.
That wasn't obvious from the start? (the episode following Lucy releasing her Gates). I want to smack you for that one man.. >_>
Question is, does it have a limit. What is it? Is it a magic pill that gives them a large dose of mana, or is it a pill that makes them immune to the leeching effects of Edolas?
The episode was really slow for the first 3/4. It hit all the right notes at the end though, and I'm not sure if the lengthy build-up helped that or not.
Where did Gajeel get the idea that attacking a Lacrima humanises it? Did he think it was a shell or something? :S

Anyway, most of this episode was really dragging its feet. The studio must be getting anxious because the manga still isn't beyond the next arc from this (if memory serves; I don't think there were any between this and the current one, at least not any major ones).
Not entirely. That pill could have done anything man. I mean, how did she even get over here? It's not like she can fly. Again, I just thought it was cause spirits come from another dimension at first.
Now that we know that BOTH the characters that ran into Mystogan can use their magic still, it's obvious it's his pill.
lol, if not for that scene showing Lucky and Marl having just one kid, I would have thought Happy and Charl were siblings or something...
This will be one of my all-time Becoming-a-Man episodes ever.

I hope I wasn't the only one who got teary eyed
1. I really hate it when a characters "unique personality quirk" takes the form of something extremely annoying. You know, like screaming KAA constantly.
2. They left Lucy her keys?! Worst jailers ever!
3. I thought the twist there was obvious soon as he said they didn't like the kingdom and then I saw the wife.
I actually thought the same at first since Happy looks like his mom but Happy's dad looks like Carla.
....maybe a little.
I think the end of the last episode was supposed to also, but for some reason, it just came off as cheesy.
I thought the dude screaming KAA all the time was hilarious, and i hope Gajeel does something useful soon :P

I didn't get teary-eyed at all in this ep, i did however get both teary-eyed and a giant lump in my throat from the ep where Natsu first saw edolas-Lisanna.. man that was sad :/I hope I wasn't the only one who got teary eyed
