First big job was to get rid of a bunch of Fairy Tail mages... A nice start for her career in Fairy Tail.
This wasn't a very good episode. It seems to me the anime will be running fillers for a while.

Surrounded by all the hot Fairy Tail babes she probably feels immense pressure to be sexy - even though she's still so small. She can't do anything about the lack of bust so it seems like she compensated with the shortness of her dress.
I could have lived without seeing this episode.
Seriously, who would just continue to stand right next to the finish line after falling until everybody else and their cousins run past you and you end up dead last? Such splendid script writing indeed! Almost as bad as Naruto fillers.
Doujinshi time: During the annual Fairy Tail 24hr race, the 4 losers were Erza, Lucy, Juvia and Wendy. As such, they must take part in the Master's punishment. 1 week later.... XD
I liked this episode. I don't think a race has every been this good. Also wouldn't have accepted any winner other than Happy.
What was rigged was that while there seemed to be so much difference between all the competitors, they weren't all that different by the end. Jet was running alongside Gray, who should have been behind Erza, who was in front of Gajeel, who was behind Natsu.
PS: An episode can not possibly fail when Erza shows off a hot costume.

So I'm guessing since the preview has the dude from the opening I don't recognize that this was the last filler.
Gildartz kicks ass, even if he's such a jovial fellow. I think other parts of this ep were also handled nicely.
