Laxus the douchebag is back. But at least Juvia is now in her better design. And Gazeel is around to spice things up. The other people's reaction to Gazeel joining the club was certainly expected.

Mirajane's song was nice. I didn't remember it from the manga, har har.

I miss seeing Juvia going all shy around Gray. I'll let her new design grow on me a bit more, but so far I like the older personality.

I'm sure they introduced the Lucy figures only for comedy effect, and that we'll hear nothing about again, but it makes more sense for them to make Mirajaine figures, since she's already an established cover girl.

I'm looking forward to this Laxus arc, since it promises to bring out the strongest in Fairy Tail, as well as showcasing the politics in the guild. I wonder how Master would weigh up his children against his blood-grandson.

But by far, I'm looking forward to this:

eehh, Laxus is like Danzo from Naruto. I bet he was waiting for the old man to kick the bucket when Fairy Tail was leveled. Such a hypocrite, where were him when Fairy Tail needed some people to fight? We know Mystogan at least went out there and kick the butt of all the satellite guild hall.

Laxus is now blowing his top off like a spoil brat... just because grandpa didn't get him the birthday present he wanted.

Laxus's ideas might be quite unfitting for the current Fairy Tail but he's quite effective. One thing is certain: If he got his way and inherited Fairy Tail unchallenged, it would host a lot less members.

He simply has no use for Fairy Tail too weak to defeat opponents of that level (without his help).

Hmm.. if Gajeel can't exit the barrier neither, it suggests the barrier has something to do with dragon slayers. Laxus must have had some run-ins with them to block them as a class rather than simply isolate Natsu himself. (The same question has to be asked as to why Freed went about blocking master in such a round-about way though.
Comedic effect?)

Too bad frozen girls mean we won't get to see them in action though. That kinda sucks.
