Talking about her here and now would be a manga spoiler. Perhaps I'll get back to it after a bunch of eps when she has had more screen time.

Anyone got intel on when the next ep airs? :P

If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
Juvia is a rather strange girl. That's no doubt one reason why she's my favorite as well. Fairy Tail is quite story driven series in my opinion, laying less emphasis on deeper character development - which makes more or less sense considering the comedic nature and the number of characters. So, a character who's strange from the beginning is characteristic. Not that she would be the only such character, of course.
Plus I like her interest in Gray. The VA pleases me immensely as well.
That was completely unexpected. And funny.
I was expecting a semi-badass fight, but it turned out to be mostly comedy, and I didn't mind, surprisingly. I'd certainly enjoy the dynamics between them that are to come, but now Erza's got no potential partners (that are immediately available)
Strange how that if her body is made of water that being frozen wasn't the end of her.

You thought Gray could be a pair for Erza? Ho... Such an idea never visited my mind even in the beginning. I always considered Erza a bit out of league for these fellows, and not only because she's older generation, basically, no matter how much time she seems to be spending with Natsu, Gray, and Lucy. Even that feels more like looking after them.
Crunchysubs - Episode 26

Weak. Very weak episode.

WHAT
THE
HELL??
That was just crap. An unnecessarily long flashback that only served to drag the episode out so it could end where it did, and some things like deflecting steel attacks with your body after powering up make no sense at all.
The only thing that made me smile was seeing the complete adoption of DBZ fighting style. Only then did it occur to me that Gajeel's hairstyle and rivalry somewhat resembles Raditz's.

Unfortunately I can't say you'd be wrong. The unnecessary flashbacks took me by surprise and seemed to never end. I'd have preferred this fight with their feet a bit closer to the earth.
Horrible Subs - Episode 28

How cool does Mystogan's voice sound? He seemed rather creepy from the first sleep-inductive encounter, but now he just seems more of a quiet type. We need more of this guy.

Quite a peaceful episode but very meaningful nonetheless considering Lucy's old man's attitude. Other than that, I hope Juvia sticks around for a while, like in this episode.
I've just noticed this and maybe it is just a coincidence but..Lucy's mom died in 777. It doesn't state the exact date but I wouldn't be surprised if it is 777-7-7. The same date those 2 dragons disappeared.
No kidding. First thing I thought of was. OMG Lucy's Mom is a dragon!!!
He actually seemed rather happy or relieved in that window shot. Perhaps he knows he's an incompetent father, or that he's happy he no longer has to impose the Heir of Hearfellia role onto her anymore since she disowned it.
The poor servants will only have a grump champ to look after now though.
Juvia really is a funny girl, but she just can't top Erza. She's cuteness and badass combined!
777... it's even more of a mystery that Lucy's mum died in the same year. I assumed all the dragons disappeared following some sort of intentional hunt.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
No if it's a massive Dragon hunt then people would have known about that and been recorded in the books as "The Day The Dragons Died" or something.
Not an "official" massive dragon hunt, but some deceptive plan by an individual or shady organisation that somehow attracted, or crippled all the dragons for collection.

I can't claim this would have been an overly exciting episode. At least we got a bit of Laxus before the theater part.
