How does it work exactly?

I subscribe to all the manga's i'm currently reading on onemanga, but the thing is that every once in a time i stumble upon a new chapter that hasn't shown up on rss ticker ( the plugin for firefox )

Is the system full proof or is it known to fail from time to time?
