Haha, I liked Hancock's little daydream about cheering up Luffy. The episode overall was pretty funny and I enjoyed it. The Franky dance scene was epic.

Regarding Kuma's intentions, I don't know if Kuma really has "the best" in mind for the Straw Hat crew. Nami ended up in a place where she can be content, but she's 10,000m up with no good way down. Unless she can work something out, she is no longer a threat to the WG. It makes me think Kuma is doing the least he can to fulfill his strategic obligations as Shichibukai.
And as if Franky wasn't enough of a pervert... let's throw some Vegapunk Brand Cocaine in there too. Also, do we really need to stare at his crotch while he goes "RIGHT LEFT RIGHT LEFT"?
I like that Nami and the old man were CLEARLY saying "handol" when Nami was about to take a shower, but UTSF translated it to "wheel". Or "SUPER FLAVOR" turning into "Super Fragrance"

These cases seem too convenient to be coincidences and not intentional. Besides, coming down is always easy. Going up is the hard part. You need nothing but a parachute to get down from the research station. Besides, it's not given they don't have some means of transportation to begin with.

And he goes around calling himself a "Pacifista". Maybe he just doesn't like people dying, and wants to do his part to end the Great Pirate Age without killing. He can do this by disbanding crews as they enter the New World.
He is loyal to the World Government, supposedly.
