I still think he was messing with Starkk when Liza said don't worry about it I'll take care of it. Aizen killing him wouldn't work out to well logically, even if Aizens the type to personally defeat disgusted with weakness and killing the ones who show it under his command, Starkk is number one and personally recruited and hand picked by him. So I don't think that he would just kill him off right after he started whooping on two vizards.
