    Movie: The Final Destination (3D)

Just came back from this, and I really enjoyed it even though this entry in the series feels far less.....profound? then the others. Mostly because it seems the narrative is completely missing, every scene just seems like another death scene.

It was nice in your face gory though, and since I saw it in 3D, the effects were even more enjoyable. This is the first 3D movie where I've actually flinched (more then once), never happened before .
All in all 80 minutes of mindless fun/thrills/scares whatever floats your boat.
Oh and I liked bus 180 showing up at the end. Though the ending itself was a tad weak, even FD3's ending which left it up to imagination was better.

One more thing, I also really liked the opening credits, which showed most of the deaths from the previous movies, but in 3D and X-Ray'ed.

The movie was also accompanied by a 3D trailer of Avatar, pretty good stuff.

Seems like they've gone in the right direction with this franchise. The first movie was awful and took itself way too seriously, but now it seems they've dropped all pretense of these being scary (or even very good) and are just going going nuts.

Stuff in the trailers and tv spots makes it impossible not to want to go watch:
"I'M KEEPING MY EYE ON YOU!"
*random projectile flies at woman's eyes, killing her"

I'm gonna get drunk as hell and see this eventually.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful. -Marie Curie
