    Manga: To Love-Ru

    According to RC:

    http://randomc.animeblogger.net/2009...noooooooooooo/

    Comments:
    -I just died a little on the inside.
    -The one thing I really liked about this was that it was one of the few mangas that could continue to keep me interested without actually having to advance the plot. This ending really came as a kick in the teeth.
    -Yes, I know im pulling a Ryll here..

    Someone instant messaged me the ANN story yesterday and it killed my mood. I was shocked and angry, because it was so unexpected. I wish they would have warned us a few chapters in advance, but they didn't. I'm going to miss Kotegawa Yui.

    Never heard of it, but since everyone seems pissed off I'll watch some of the anime

    I think there was a fair amount of foreshadowing. After all the completely pointless (but funny) chapters recently, they finally started getting back to the serious side of who Rito liked more. You could tell it was finally getting back to the major plotlines.

    I of course, will miss Momo the most. She was deliciously evil.

    I remember checking out the To LOVE-Ru anime previews a while back. It looked like "Mindless ecchi fix of the season" anime.

    If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~

    Wait, you mean the manga is not a mindless ecchi fix?

    Maybe I should start reading it then.

    Manga: To-Love-Ru Manga

    Your Thoughts On Ending of To-Love-Ru Manga

    Hi Everyone,
    Well I'm happy to see the manga ended because i felt for the longest time the story went nowhere. The ending of the manga was a pretty big disappointment as well it never brought any conclusion to the story it's pretty much just saying he going to keep going through the same crazy lifestyle he's already been it. Whoppdi Do. O well it did keep me entertained for a good minute though. If they continue with the anime I hope they deviate from the manga. So who's next up to plate?

    This ending sucked hairy balls

    For one thing the ending came out of nowhere, i had no idea this was gonna be the last chapter ( missed the ANN announcement and was able to keep depression at bay for a few more days )

    And, like so many before him, the author had no balls to give it an actual ending with him choosing one of the girls ( fuck, he didn't even get to choose 2 girls ) but left it so fucking open that he/she can return with as many specials as he/she wants in the future should the money run out from all the orgies and such

    In summary, I hated it with a passion

    sigh ive noticied a trend with most anime's having a absolute crap ending. this is just another one on that list. It had so much potential too...sigh

    I think you mean, Weekly Shonen Jump told the author to end in within the next four chapters (or even less), so they had no choice but to give it an abrupt, poorly developed and ambigous ending because they didn't have any time.

    Pretty much the exact same thing that they did to Yasuhiro Kano twice for Pretty Face and Mx0. The ending to both of those series is startlingly similar.

    If it isn't Bleach, Naruto, or One Piece, WSJ doesn't give a shit who you are. If you're not as popular as those three and can't net them extra income, they'll replace you with absurdly short notice. (A lot like the model of the other WSJ now that they are owned by NewsCorp.)

    The series in Jump are ranked every week based on reader's votes. To Love-Ru has been consistently in the bottom end of these rankings recently, so it's not much of a surprise that they got cut.

    Lol, the plot for pretty face sounds so idiotic that i think i'll check it out

    Ryu, does that mean that there's a chance that the franchise might keep going in another magazine?

    @Augury:

    That's fine that they want to rank them and remove the ones that aren't popular (there is only so much space in the already large magazine), but that doesn't mean that Shueisha should kill series so quickly, at least give them a few months to end it properly.

    @Archie:
    I believe it is fairly rare for series to switch magazines, much less publishers. Usually that is only when a still-popular series is in a magazine that gets cancelled, as with Claymore.
