It really gets to me how Madara says one thing and does another. He claims that he will kill Sasuke, but then butters him up so he can use him. Then he has the nerve to blaim Sasuke and Pain for the Gokage Summit. With Akatsuki so close to its goals it was bound to happen. Hell, Sasuke "pulled off" his mission more discreately then Pain, and it was the "capture" of Killer Bee that caused the summit.
Man I totally forgot about Yugito being a Cloud Ninja.You would think that after she was defeated they would give Bee some protection, but I guess they thought that his control over the eight tails would make make him not lose very easiler. And I guess they were kind of right. (Why the hell did he ever release the eight tails anyway? He was winning that fight.)
I'm glad to see that Naruto is acting more mature. In the past he would have just yelled at Omoi and Karui, and claimed that he would never work with them. (Then in the usual Naruto plot twist become best friends with them.) It might be sinking into him that Sasuke might have to be dealt with as an enemy. It's clear that he doesn't want to deal with that. Poor guy. His heart must be crushed right now.
Seeing Gaara and the others is really exciting. Damn... they change costumes alot... anyone notice Temari's small fan and scroll? Looks like she got a new fighting style. I can't wait to see what Kankurou's got. I'm sure he's not using Sasori's hand me downs anymore after that thorough ass whooping. Hopefully they don't get glanced over. The Sand's gotten no love in part 2.

Madara could either be setting Sasuke up to fail at this so that Sasuke realizes that he needs Madara's help, or Madara intends to help him at this Kage Summit and wipe out the other Kage's with Sasuke, but as the Mizukage. That would be sick!
If a certain crazy theory is true, it would be a 2 on 3 fight against the Raikage, Stone Kage, and Kazekage.

Because if a certain crazy theory were true then you'd imagine that Sasuke would realize that if Madara is Danzou, and Danzou is responsible for the death of the Uchihas, then Madara is responsible for the death of the Uchiha. Sasuke already knows Madara was responsible for the death of the Uchiha, along with Itachi and Danzou (with varying degrees of responsibility and motives). Heck, he knows Madara killed the Uchiha basically for the fun of it. Sasuke can't do anything about it.
Also, if Danzou is a Kage Bunshin, Sasuke has no particular reason to think Danzou is Madara. More likely, he would think Danzou was a sorry sack of cowardly crap who was too scared to go to the Kage meeting. Even if he did realize it, he would HAVE to fight the three kages before he could fight Madara, since he is on their enemies list and revealed himself to them all.

I don't think Sasuke plans to fight all 5 of them--that would be silly. The whole idea is to set a trap or something for an assassination. If he could find a way to lock them all in one place and Amets them, it might do something. Of coarse there will be a back up plan and such and probably an escape plan.
Genjetsu your opponent and then have your team take them out. 15 seconds to win. Not everyone has trained their left eye against the sharrigan. Itachi had to be the greatest Genjetsu user out there save for 1 or 2 historical greats, and Sasuke at least kept up with him in that battle. Sasuke could always use that tactic.

Anyway you must be a fool if you think that 5 kage's and their bodyguards would succumb to Sasuke's genjutsu.
The only way that could plausibly work if all ( thats like what, 15 people at least?) would stand against a wall looking at sasuke and he somehow puts them all under genjutsu at the same time, and then a second later kills all of them.
No way that would work? Anyone remember the chunin exam? I doubt any of the Kages succumbed to Oro's genjutsu trap. It appears that not even most jounin did. I don't know what Madara is getting at, but it seems like he's trying to off Sasuke.

Anyway, I doubt Sasuke has any intention of killing all the kages and more likely just wants to take out Danzou.

Lets once again visit this. You say it's stupid for him to try and kill the five kages at the summit. I agree, however I don't agree on the reason you seem to think. I might be the only one who thinks this, but they don't need any of those guards. At all. Most people seem to think that they need one or two, and the rest seem to think they need a crew. I think they can go around alone, unaccompanied by any guards at all. These are the strongest people in the entire village. They don't need any help whatsoever from anyone on fighting or protecting themselves. And I don't think Sasuke has the ability to even go toe to toe with a kage.

And if someone is going to bust out Danzos age, I'm sure he has something up his sleeve (in both life experience and skill) that makes him a formidable fighter able to handle a whelp like Sasuke.
@ I must be the devil: he wants to sync him to it. Basically madara is saying he wants to make sasuke the unofficial leader of akatsuki like pein was so he doesn't have to get any heat and can continue to plot without anyone knowing he is behind it all. At this point, Sasuke is already basically his pawn anyway... madara wanted the 8-tails and knew there would be a lot of heat from abducting him so he sent sasuke. Now its sasuke getting all the heat not madara even though sasuke doesn't give a crap about the hosts. ya sasuke is already being used by madara and is already his pawn at the moment.

Kankuro's quote isn't backing you up, since both him and Temari are going with Gaara. Even if they are Kage's they will always have 1 or 2 strong people around them at all times when outside the village, going outside alone is just irresponsible.
I'm not saying that the the village will let them go alone because of their status. I'm just making a statement that they don't need addition support from other guards. And how is it not backing me up? I'm not trying to start a post war with you, but (barring the recent rant Danzo was allowed to give to make himself new hokage) don't you think that the elders think hard and long about who to make the next kage? No matter what village? Besides speed of getting someone new into the seat within a matter of short days, a kage is probably chosen on three requirements:
1) the ability to take down anyone in the village by themselves. No help at all
2) good solid, likable reputation from both the peers, and the village elders. Kakashi is a great example (not for hokage, but for reason number 2)
3) the ability to lead extremely well and make good decisions (a byproduct, not trait, of leading well)
And I don't think it's irresponsible. I just think that they can all handle themselves in battle.

It is irresponsible, because if something happens a long the way, and the kage gets killed, their body and all their secrets then belong to the enemy, but if at least one escort survives, they can warn the village.
If the kazekage had more guards, there would've been a slightly higher chance that the sand would've been informed that Oro killed the kazekage, stopping the entire chain of events we all know.
The leader of any organization should never travel anywhere without some sort of escort.
Rinne Tensei and Gedo Mazo are different techniques. Rinne Tensei is the technique Pein used to revived the village after he bombed it. Gedo Mazo is the "statue" summon that apparently sucks chakra out of people's bodies and stuck its chakra rods into Nagato's spine.
I must be the Devil is wondering if Madara has been using the Rinne Tensei to stay alive for over a hundred years.
It is an interesting idea, but if it is true, it might mean there has been a long line of people with the Rinnegan.
