    Manga: Yankee-kun to Megane-chan

I think I read somewhere that someone else is reading this series, so though I'd make a thread for it. It's pretty much a comedy delinquent gag manga, with some fighting action. I thought the early volumes were very repititive and boring, but from volume 4 on it got much better with the introduction of various characters.

The main characters can get very annoying too.

Otherwise, it can be a fun manga with some good comedic moments.

50 chapters are currently out, last one just got release:

It gets released frequently, currently being released by Mahou-X.

Really not a series for everyone.

From Mahou-X: The story starts with a seemingly unassuming class rep Adachi Hana who has taken an interest in the school's known delinquent, Shinagawa Daichi. Just what is her reason for following Daichi and wanting him to go on the class field trip?

There seems to be a oneshot crossover with Fairy Tail called Fairy Megane, but it doesn't seem to be scanlated:

I love the series, but I just wish they'd show a little bit more of Adachi's former ruthless side.

I've got to get caught back up on this one, I fell behind a bit recently.

I'm with you concerning Adachi... but not necessarily interested in her being ruthless, but more interested in some storylines dealing with her family and the organization she controls. I also feel like Shinagawa isn't as strong as he should be... he needs to kick some ass in a more dominating fashion. I also think they've underused that chick that transfered from Adachi's old school, she's a cool character... we haven't seen her fight at all.

But the last couple of volumes have been quite good, fast paced, plenty of action, good character interaction, and some good comedy. Slow start to the series, but it found the formula that works later on.

    Anyways, go and catch up.

Okay, all caught up with chapters 52 and 53 released.

While I still like the old Adachi's intensity (especially from the bonus chapter that came with FH's chapter 53 release), her absolute stupidity is just as good. I enjoyed the end of the computer arc too, while it was more obvious the game chararacter was really being played by a girl, the student council's reaction to it was funny. Adachi of course, stood there with a dumb look on her face like she didn't even realize what was going on.
