There, no need to watch Bleach for the next 3 weeks.
EDIT: Now that i think about it, Ukitake will probably help at some point since he has no one to fight now.
You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end each of us must work for his own improvement, and at the same time share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful. -Marie Curie

It all depends on how Kubo writes off the fight. If it does well, then we'll enjoy a good battle out of it. If not, then we'll just throw it away like every other Bleach chapter.

But I don't think any of the captains are going to win. Some crap will happen and they'll get owned. Then Viz step in or Ichigo comes or something. Maybe that one chick that got promoted to zero squad, who knows? I just think all the captains will lose this time.
Royal Guards, or Zero Squad, are only to protect the Soul Society King. It is probably implied that they never leave their position to do anything else. But yea, all the Captains are obviously gonna lose for the Vaizards to come and save them.

But can we really say that Stark combining with Lilynette will make much of a difference ? As noted in previous chapters, we can assume that Lilynette is pretty weak because Ukitake basically own her in every way possible. Its like emrging something really powerful (Stark) with something really weak (Lilynette). Will the merge really be that significant ?
It's a much better idea than letting Lilynette go off on her own. Like you said, she's virtually powerless against opponents like Ukitake. That way, she can aide Stark while he provides her with the Spirit Force that she needs to fight.

Yeah. I have kind of assumed since the beginning that this would be some kind of illusion. Though it would be stupid if Soul Society, knowing Aizen's ability, hasn't come up with a counter yet. The illusion thing would be such a cop-out but it would be the only thing that would make sense, unless these Espada's wind up winning.Originally Posted by Carnage
