Looks like the showdown between Oga and Touya is coming soon. Chapter 23 was one of my favorite chapters, it was completely hilarious.

well, after reading it myself, I can understand why.
what I was trying to say was that the entire concept of oga and his friend questioning whether the baby is Beb' or not, and trying some underhand methods to determinate that (getting Toujou 15 meters away from the baby). all of that seemed really out of character, considering that Oga's first (and so far, only) solution for dealing with a problem is with his fists.
I know some of that was the author showing us how different Toujou is from the rest of the cannon fodder guys, but still. a complete change of character.

I didn't see it that way. Something shocked Oga (hence why he started going through the river).... what that was, I don't know. Most probably he was in disbelief that the baby would choose someone over him, so he wasn't thinking straight.
As for underhanded methods to determine if that's the baby or not, was not out of character in my opinion. Primarily, it was his friend doing all the planning. The "You plan on fighting with a baby riding on yer back!?" bit was purely used for comedic reasons to illustrate how dumb Oga is since he does it all the time. I really doubt that his intentions had anything to do with trying to figure out if that was the baby or not. He's not that clever.
So in all, after the initial shocked reaction, all that was portrayed from Oga was true to his character.

Just read 27 and 28. I liked Oga's attitude about the fight not being over yet, which in truth is correct. Let's see how we go about getting a power up.

also, there's a striking similarity between Toujou's right hand man and the guy with silly hair, they might be working together to overthrow toujou.

lol "in terms of farts, it'd be the same as a slightly wet, silent and deadly one". That was by far one of the most colorful metaphor for a dire situation.
This is the obligatory get your ass in gear and go do what you need to do part, and i'm glad they didn't spend more than one chapter on it.
