Stupid yes, but it's not like people can do anything with those numbers if they don't have the security number as well.

    Really?
    /me points to amazon.

not every service requires CVC code.

with minimal information gathering skills you can get all the other data(name, adress, etc.).
also some cards have CVC code on front(american express).

I bet you they think they're clever by covering up the cvv code or the last few digits of the card. Fucking fools. One day the internet is going to be the major tool in cleansing the human gene pool of this stupidity.

Uchiha Barles: Hello, this is Selrab Ahihcu calling from Bank of America calling to speak to a Ms. Tiffany Dumbfuck concerning an urgent matter:

Tiffany Dumbfuck: This is Tiffany Speaking, what's the problem?

Uchiha Barles: Our records indicate that your debit card has been used in a manner inconsistant with your shopping patterns and we are calling to confirm this. Did you shop at KiddyPorn R' Us on 7/3/2000 using your Bank of America debit card.

Tiffany Dumbfuck: Oe Em Gee no! That's horrible! How did this happen?

Uchiha Barles: It seems the security of your card has been compromised. We highly suggest you deactivate your card to prevent further unauthorized use, at which point you will be mailed a new card with a new number. We'll also need you to assign a pin number to new card. Before we proceed, we'll need to very your card number, social security number and the zipcode in which you originally filed for your card.

Tiffany Dumbfuck: Ok sure, my card number is...

    See the problem?

I was rather cheery when I learned that you can customise your bank card with various pictures, but then the fine print says that they can't do anything that violates copyright (pretty much, printing any existing characters) - so that just sucked then.

My card's a boring white at the moment. Damn, I'll even go for a Hello Kitty one.

Why not (have someone) make a custom character and use that? That would be even cooler, since it is one of a kind and fits your tastes perfectly.

I could do that.. but that's if I readily have a design in mind or something..

though I wonder if the people behind the "submission process" can readily identify copyrighted characters if they saw one? I could give it go.

I thought this was fairly interesting:

    http://fstoppers.com/the-anti-airbru...=Google+Reader

Photoshopped pictures of what celebrities would look as as "normal" people. I find it interesting that the artist figures that the levels of obesity he's showing and the frequency he displays it in those pictures is normal. I find it funny that Jay-Z is actually slightly less hideous after the transformation.

Still a better candidate that one of the two we had during our elections.

If you can afford a live in contortionist, you simply have to hire one. No way around it.

is that a pun? I'm not sure if you're trying to twist the words or not...

anyway, can anyone confirm if it's real or not? I haven't found evidence of the incident in any other site that doesn't direct to that source

sig made by Itachi-y2k5, thanks, dude!
Currently Watching: probably a show directed at 9 years old girls, lets be honest.

You know the important distinction between Batman and me? Batman is fictional. In real life, there isn't always an alternative.

That's essentially all the proof we need to know it's fake. Plus it's a satire website according to DD, so it's a fake article. Too bad, was hoping anonymous actually revealed the information.

Still, anyone who follows American politics should already know Romney doesn't pay taxes and is grossly rich. And anyone who disputes that won't be convinced even if they do see the official numbers on his tax return.
