    Epicness, on a f*cking stick.

Wow, I gotta say, the first time I saw that ad, I was sold.
Took an instant liking to the guy, and that's saying something considering how shirtless he was.

    No homo.

Edit: On a totally random sidenote. Wtf guys, post less. I just glanced at a few of the people above me's post counts. Jesus.

That's indeed badass; 25M symmetric. I've always had a symmetric connection and I quite like it. Although mine is considerably slower than that and my ISP has little intrest in developing anything.

I'd need to move to a new place to get FTTH. One provider here offers 100Mbps/50Mbps for 30€/month.

Thing is, not many areas are covered yet.

For your average joe, if you have a very short copper line, you can top 28mbps down.

But reality kicks in and I'm only at 10Mbps/1Mbps, long line...

FTTH started around 2002/3 in Tokyo, with 100Mbps symetrical, didn't it?

Maybe around the same time in Korea, or even before.
I remember at the time having 512Kbps ADSL and for 1.5 times the price of Japanese FTTH... And I was among those having fast internet access, for France that is...

Well, I might someday have a quicker access with my mobile data plan, than with my ADSL line at home. Only thing is that home is totally uncapped...

    How about my fellow gootwooters?

All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.

    6Mbps down, 0.8Mbps up

90GB/month of quota @ 65AUD/month (incl phone line rental)

    If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~

7.1 Mbps down, 0.768 mbps up

No bandwidth cap, but I do get intermittent connection losses, or speed dips quite frequently.

Verizon DSL btw. I'd get FiOS if they had it in my area.

I pay $52.95 a month for the Comcast Performance PLUS plan. It's 16 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up with a 250GB monthly download cap.

10mbps/2mbps, sometimes, when my ISP is fixing things, and forgets to set up limits while doing so, speed can rise to 32mbps(happened yesterday night) + 5mbps/1mbps for my ps3 and my parent's laptops
overall approx 80pln(25$). Ofc no limits.

Well it's either Comcast, or pay $37.95 for AT&T's 3 Mbps down / 384K up service with a 60GB monthly download cap. Those are my only two choices.

I can get unlimited cap for 99AUD/month, but I really don't need to fork out so much money. 90GB is comfortable enough to work with.

That's highway robbery if I've ever seen any. But it's probably some satellite connection, right? Anyway, my own connection is 5/5M for 33€. The price is hardly as reasonable anymore as it was years ago so I'm looking for alternatives.

There are some slightly better-for-value alternatives here, but churning has downtime and all, and I'm currently satisfied with my level of stability.

DSL, robbery yes, it happens when there`s only one ISP available in your area.

I was watching The Tyra Banks show today, and they did an episode about the Tape Worm diet.

A guy who sells tapeworms on the black market went was on that show, and it was very easy to find his website. He claims that it's for autoimmune disorders, not weight loss... but yeah, look at the site name. He also has another site that you go to for the treatment (in Mexico).

In order to obtain the tapeworms, he goes to villages in places like Africa, looks in poo, infects some cows with the worm eggs, then slaughters the cow and harvests the cysts for human consumption. Ew.

Something creepy that made me chuckle is that they warned against taking cocaine and having tapeworms at the same time. It's an "unacceptable risk" to the tapeworm... Does this also mean taking cocaine is a cheap way to get rid of tapeworms? Hmm...
