plus you know, footage of the promise land :\
You have to ask yourself why the promise land has the highest suicide rate per capita of all 1st world nations.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

Because it's filled with people like this: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/26/ma...ewanted=1&_r=1

Beyond that, I have no idea. Probably has something to do with repression.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

"When he admitted to watching human porn at a panel discussion in Tokyo in 2005, several hundred hard-core 2-D lovers in the audience booed with shock that their dear leader had nostalgia for the 3-D world. "

Heh. Clearly the author was less of a 2-D lover than his fans.

I'm not opposed to this kind of thing (the topic, in general). It's just a way out for people, and this article suggests such activity can potentially save them from suicide (and continue to help the rest of us pay tax).

PS: /me cares not for 3D porn.

    http://www.codeorgan.com/
The Codeorgan analyses the "body" content of any web page and translates that content into music. The Codeorgan uses a complex algorithm to define the key, synth style and drum pattern most appropriate to the page content.
www.gotwoot.net is a short clavichord riff in A minor with an African drum beat.

Wow, you know that's actually something I've been noticing subconsciously but was never able to describe.

I remember Terminator Salvation having it in spades, but I couldn't ever put my finger on what it was that bugged me.

Cool article. But I wonder, same as you seem to have wondered, was it better not knowing about this? How can I watch movies again knowing what I now know?

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? God forbid the experience of watching "Transformers 3" is soured in any way.

I hope I can once again regain the capacity to enjoy movies without looking for orange/teal!

lol. This reminds me of how I was after I watched Fight Club, and I couldn't watch a movie in the theater with out focusing on the "cigarette burns" the entire time xD

dang.. I literally just watched The Hurt Locker last night. Now I kinda wanna re-watch it just to see how much this was used in it :\

    edit: AHHH!!

^^^^^ that made me laugh so hard

Now for a little self promotion. The gig I'm playing tomorrow is supposed to be broadcast live via webcam. Check it out tomorrow, Saturday, March 20th at 2:30pm Central Time:

    http://www.ustream.tv/channel/radior...from-sxsw-2010

If you've got nothing better to do, give it a watch. I'll try not to disappoint.
