I hate Jun's voice, grinded on my nerves.
Nerve grinder:
Episode 7 - SFW
At least he had some guts this time, and implied he'd travel back in time for Kaya's confession too, so he redeemed himself there. Plus, he was outdone by those superficial modelers.Originally Posted by Kraco

I'm still not entirely sure why she hates women. According to this episode it was nothing but a pure coincidence she ended up as a waiter in the cafe (in male clothes). I thought she had a longer tradition of hiding her gender. But perhaps she's just too disgusted by those superficial models and suffered in their company so long that it twisted her sense of what being a woman means and thus she sought some respite by being a man for a while, in the company of strangers.
I actually liked the beginning of this episode with the vane. Also, I don't dislike Jun (I just adapted that line from the post above, like I oft do). If there's something I dislike about her, it's the fact her VA doesn't sound like a boy at all.
I don't know why, but I find this show strangely charming.

Yes, it has to be the belly buttons.
Peace.

^ Srsly, SFW?

Dropping balls? Unexpiring milk? Hilarious, it really is.

Wow, the look on the salt guys face when Arashi gave his companion some salt was excellent. Anyway I really feel for Kaya for having to try and explain to those two morons that going back in time isn't the same as reversing time. And speaking of hilarious quantities of stupid...Hajime. I can perhaps forgive him for not knowing what a woman's crotch equipment looks like due to his age but seriously...coming up with the theory that Jun's balls fell off? That's just epic fail right there.
Episode 8 - SFW
It was certainly one weird episode. It was nice to see some development with the salt guy, even if it was almost negative development for the dude himself. What comes to the main theme, it's not like body switching would be such a novel idea, but this certainly came out of nowhere and somehow managed to be quite unique. Still, Hajime missed a really good chance for some... experimentation due to his stupidity.
The milk scene was frustrating to watch because it would have actually been so easy to explain yet Kaya somehow failed to do it.
That's the funny part. She had it all in her mind, but when she asked them the series of questions, she got confused herself.

Regarding the Salt guy:
The other guy gets salt using another form of question, another phrase. I don't know if there's meaning behind that fact.
The fact the salt guy is never served salt could be he's a real ghost/spirit and can't be seen/heard by human beings. Salt is also related to spirits in Japanese culture, isn't it?
All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.
But then it raises the question of what he's using the salt for? Certainly he's had to interact with staff to get his food.Originally Posted by David75
Based on that, I think he's a real guy, and everything is for lulz.
PS: or are you suggesting that Kaya or Arashi served him, and Hajime & the others can't see him?
I like watching the different stories involving the octopus and mangaka.

Yeah, I also tend to think it's only for extra laughs. It's certainly working in that role as well. It wouldn't feel like an Arashi episode anymore if the dude wasn't anymore asking for salt in the background. But who knows, maybe he will finally get it in the last episode!
Episode 9 - Shinji
------------------------------
-Anyone else notice God's pet's cameo @ 3:10? They even played a modified version of L's Theme @ 7:34. Got to love these little cameos
- By far the most interesting development happened at the end though. I wouldn't have thought this show to be anything but light comedy.

I just started watching this series on the weekend. I knew Jun's voice sounded eerily familiar, but it wasn't until I looked it up that I found out it's the same voice actress as Maka Albarn. Now, after 6 episodes of Arashi, all I can hear is Maka instead of Jun.Originally Posted by animus

Damn. I don't think I'll enjoy the Kanako and Yayoi scenes anymore now that it was made clear they are such nasty life leeching villains.
Kanako would be a much cooler character if she didn't have such an ugly mug.
All the easier for us to dislike her now.
From the looks of things, the detective will probably defect over to the Ark's side.
