    The new ending theme's not too bad I think. The bits at the end sounded like the same guys who did Hero's Comeback for Shippuuden.

    I know they're going for a more old-school feel with this show, but almost any choice would have been better than that orange onepiece. I would have said it looked hideous if it wasn't for Aoba wearing it.

    There's a nice blue one with an exposed back in the ED that looks great. They better use that design in the next pool/beach ep.

    I don't think an orange onepiece would look good on anybody.

    They probably need to show us how good they are as highschoolers and how far they go in their tournament for year 2. Then we might have another time leap?

    Is it possible they plan having Azuma and Kou in the same team? That would be the obvious choice for an incredible team, but wouldn't be very interresting for the show... even if they can spice things at will.

    What I loved too is that the bad guys had 3 stolen base and one stolen home from a highschool girl.
    Also they ate a point from a "lower rank" player.
    I guess it's harsh for self esteem.
    Sorry if I can't describe with better words, I'm not very familiar with baseball.

    All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.

    I disagree. Central Anime's version has excellent quality. Even if they take a full week longer than ANBU and SubSmith.


    Episode 16 had a nice change of pace. There was no point to have another uber-long game without Azuma and Miki on the opposing team. They just needed to prove a point, and they did. Azuma as well. And thanks to the preview we see he remained behind in order to play alongside Koh.

    Just as the first ED had that great episode 1 setting to back it up, I'm really liking the ED2 more and more. The artwork slideshow also keeps me watching it every week, while I tended to skip ED1.

    Baseball is a male-only sport, right? It just seemed like they might slot Aoba in there somehow, given her words last episode.

    Still a fairly enjoyable episode, but it felt fillerish. I just don't think I care enough about Rita (or whatever her name is). As her final? episode though, at least she's not totally bitchy and can actually put some effort into doing something, even if it's selfish.

    Shidou-san is kinda cute when she's not being evil. I wish we could have seen more of her like this.

    Poor Aoba, great things seem to happen to people that mimic (steal) her pitching form, too bad she can't play in real games.

    The filler girl annoys me greatly, don't know why they even added her. I'd rather they give Ichiyo-san more scenes and a bigger role if they want to do filler.

    I love hearing Azuma's one-liners. These episodes consistently funny despite Cross Game not being a comedy show.
