I was expecting a flustered-upon-waking scene there, but was I in for a pleasant surprise. The episode's full of Aoba's emotional contradictions anyway, so I didn't really need another. Instead, we saw how Ko takes things, and really, he doesn't care.

I liked that. He doesn't have to develop romantic feelings for her now, but it really brings out that he's not really trying to get her attention at all. Aoba's frustrations are all her own fault and no on else's.

The whole "secret weapon" doesn't quite make sense unless they're going for the "you want one of us, you take all of us" bargaining scheme. Otherwise, Ko's training really only benefits himself significantly, hardly becoming "their" secret weapon.
