I haven't commented much because I'm using Central anime's subs, so I'm always an episode behind. But this series has been really terrific so far, one of my favorites this season. Does anyone else feel that way?
I share the feeling (and Im also behind, for I also wait for Central).
I never thought I would like a sports series again. Not since Slam Dunk.
I always loved sports series. I haven't seen many, but there hasn't been one I disliked.
Naturally, this is one of my top 3 this season.

This is my favorite for this season, and maybe even including a few seasons before. If I hadn't read the manga beforehand, this might be one of my favorite shows of all time. What episode is central on anyway?

It's one of my favorites this season as well. I'd put it at #4 on my top 5.
If this is everyone's favorite, why isn't it getting more discussion? This should be the type of series that not only warrants it, but is also likely to have it due to the nature of the show.

I honestly don't think there's terribly much to discuss about though, despite it being so likable. The story's pretty linear without much going on. No one's got some mysterious history to them, and there's only 1 potential romance pairing that's barely going anywhere.
If course, if someone could think of something I missed that's discussion material, I'm all eyes and ears. (not that ears do much good here)

The fact that half of the people here wait for Central. We kinda avoid the thread whenever there is a new episode by SubSmith. And whenever we post about Central's version, SubSmith is already releasing the next episode.

Half of episode 12 was anime-original, but the pacing and characterization were so well done, it seemed as if it originally came from the manga. Nice.
Seems Aoba can't really blame Koh for doing all that for Wakaba.
Episode 12 comments: Serious? That's hands down the most indistinguishable filler I've seen. If you didn't point it out, I wouldn't have suspected. It makes me smile just knowing that if extra material is needed, this production team can do it right.

I'm sure hoping this summer lasts a few episodes longer. Aoba looks good in summer clothing, much more so than her winter jumpers that remind you of her tomboyishness more than ever.
That coach really does care for his students, even if they treated him like trash. He was content with helping in the background when needed, but what pissed him off totally was Daimon denying his Farm Team the right to use school facilities. Then he started supporting them for real.
The team might idolise Kou, butifwhen they make their "In Your Face" comeback against the main team, they have their coach to thank.
