Excellent.
Hard to believe we're already halfway to the end.

Yeah, I had no idea this was scheduled for 99 episodes. Like Marik, though, that actually makes me quite sad since so much time was spent on the Freeza arc that it doesn't seem like the rest of the series can fit in 40 something episodes.
Then again, I don't remember what all of the rest of the series was filler/unneeded.
It's dangerous to go alone. Take Nep.
Wow really, only 99 episodes? 40 episodes...... It'll take like 40 episodes for the Buu saga, lol.
Keep in mind that there are entire arcs of the series after Freeza that are filler. Like the Garlic Jr. arc or the Otherworld Tournament arc. So there's most definitely more filler in the second two thirds of the series than there is in the first third.
Then again, maybe they really are going to stop after the Cell Saga like I was hoping they would.
Sweet! Trunks. My favorite character.
The first DBZ VHS tapes I bought (the English dub of course) was the Trunks arc tapes... It hadn't even aired on Cartoon Network yet (I think they were cycling the Saiyan/Namek/Freeza arc). Anyways, it's awesome to see this arc minus the fillers, and made more badass by being subbed (still enjoy seeing Vegeta's reactions to the yellow and pink attire). Brings back a lot of memories, that's for sure.
Dragon Soul got updated visuals at the end... I was expecting that, but I was actually expecting the entire OP sequence to be updated. The ED seemed too short to me.

I thought the new OP sequences were awesome but I wish they'd sprung for upgrading the whole thing as well. Maybe by the time Cell rolls around they'll have nudged the earlier stuff like Krillin or Tien being involved or Goku vs Vegeta out to make room for both the Androids and him.
Hopefully, but I'm doubtful. They have Gohan in Super Saiyan form towards the end of the OP, and that doesn't happen until the middle of the whole Cell arc. But, they didn't show Cell, so it is entirely possible to make that addition after he has been revealed.

Probably. I mean, the parts with Freeza fighting Goku weren't in the opening originally either.
Seems like the Goku vs. Big Bad part of the opening gets changed as the big bad changes.

FAN-tastic! Hour and a half of entertainment is on the way for me.
So Freeza Saga finishes in only 54 episodes.
Fully half the 107 episodes it took in Z.
Not too bad.
But yeah, if they really are planning to end it at 100 episodes, there's no way the Buu saga is making it into this series.

SD & Taka won't make MP4 file anymore. Darn it...Can't watch it on PS3/XBOX 360 anymore then, which is the only reason why I like watching this on.
I like the improvement of Kai. Thumps up fer me.
