The way they present her in the opening makes me think she's gonna be one of this arc's major antagonists but i don't really see Luffy fighting a woman ( and no the fat pig from episode 1 doesn't count )

- The empress that was mentioned a few episodes ago ( the one who was more beautiful than the mermaids or something )

Says who? As far as I know, the show hasn't said either way. Luffy was pretty young to sit in a bar when Shanks was around, unless someone was taking care of him. I think it's plausible.
