Yeah, I heard about this when the trailer came out a couple of days ago. I'll check it out since its only 6 eps long.

An entire half hour devoted to Elina.
I couldn't have asked for a better starting ep (except perhaps my other favs Alleyne and Airi, but Elina's got the energy to kick it off).
That out of the way, this episode was much more about Reina than Elina. She was much much more reliable as a sister than anything we've been shown before. Her change in attitude was rather abrupt, but probably not inappropriate for a teenager. I totally felt sorry for Elina there, even if her sexual harassment deserves a restraint order.
The other thing that wasn't so apparent throughout the series was that the QB competitors were easily capable of destroying entire armies. They were strong, yes, but they never seemed quite that strong.
Elina's new design will take a little getting used to, but I think I can do that.
I have no recollection whatsoever of what Gynos and Claudia are doing at this point.

My only complaint is Not Enough Tentacle Raep.
edit: and that we won't see them again for a thousand years.
The next episode will be a mixed bag since I hate nun and Cattaleya, but I like Airi and Aldora.

I never realised Menace was so strong. She never demonstrated much in the series.
And since when did Claudette become queen?

Menace was pretty strong in the first season. She effortlessly took over Reina, and was doing a good job of owning Tomoe before Tomoe turned on her Instant Victory power by making any kind of action at all.
Claudette has been queen since the beginning of the OVAs. Reina abdicated because she wasn't interested, and gave the throne to her more competent sister while she went back to wandering. Erina's episode showed this and ended with Erina too abandoning their home to serve under Claudette.
Hmm, I always thought she just took the title and went AWOL (since I never expected Aldora to have done a proper queen's job anyway). I think I vaguely remember the scene you mention from Elina's episode.

Nice, but not my favourite, since I don't really have a thing for Nanael. I would prefer Hachi over her actually.
Too bad we're already approaching the final episode, but bondage Aldora and what looks like an Evil Empress Tomoe?? Tasty..

Yeah, I really hate Nanael. I'm not much of a fan of Hirano Aya either anymore (exact same voice 95% of the time...), so any episode with Nanael in it (much less a focus on her) is doubly grating and irritating. This episode being about her was major disappointment. I started watching, realized it was a Nanael episode, and came back to it later.
If this OVA series has done anything, I've actually started to like Melona. Airi too, but I already liked her.
It's been out for almost an hour, but they don't want to make a torrent for it.

That was a nice conclusion to the whole Tomoe/Shizuka business. It never felt quite complete when Shizuka just went down for good. On the other hand, we see some Tomoe hax first hand again. Blocking a spiked ball with a short blade with zero knock-back? :S
Aldora being forced to be evil again wasn't exactly the best scenario that could have happened, but I could live with that.
