Nothing really happened, but a good chapter nevertheless.
Luffy is left alone, and is willing to sacrifice his limbs to save Ace... wonder how Luffy will get out of the poisoning this time... my guess is that the guy Bon Clay is searching is a doctor. I see no other way for Luffy to defeat Magellan and get a cure.
So Magellan must not be a logia type, if Luffy was able to punch him...
He should've just picked up a rock or something and slam that into him instead of punching him directly. Maybe the kitchen will have antidotes?
Buggy and Mr 3 are gonna get their asses rocked.

My guess is that #3 will cover luffy's fists with dong (clay? whatever it's called?) which will allow him to punch Magellen once at least once without taking any damage.

Shouldn't we be seeing Jin around here (from Don Krieg's crew)? we haven't seen him since ages ago, and situation calls for someone with a gas mask.

Gin was never captured. For instance... from all the enemies from East Blue, only Arlong was captured. No wait...Buggy is here... correction... Kuro and Krieg's crew weren't captured (except Django).

Well, I dunno. This is potentially the second time Luffy has done something to "beat" Shanks. Like in that bar in Jaya, recalling the scene where Higuma the Bear spilled drinks all over Shanks.
Or when Shanks lost his arm to save his nakama-ish friend.
If Oda intends for that parallel to continue through the arc, Luffy's going to have to use a big blast of haki soon. And we've already seen haki negate DF's (when Raleigh fought Kizaru, the Fists of Love, etc). Not that this is a good argument, just what I was thinking when I wrote that.

This could be a long shot, but lets not forget the shandia arc and that rubber luffy was imune to electricity. Now here's one more thought. From which material gloves are made? RUBBER.
Luckily the poison will damage only his clothes and Luffy will easily kick warden's ass
Rubber can still be melted.
If there was a guy with radiation power...luffy would be able to kick his ass

Well, it appears some of that poison has acidic properties, so maybe it won't affect Luffy as much. But in the case of just poison, it seems that rubber is mildly poisonous http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/ask-th...ber-plant.html http://uuhsc.utah.edu/poison/plants/...nt&plant_id=41
And there is a such thing as poison resistant rubber, but I stick by what I said; that it might not affect Luffy as dramatically as regular bodied people.
Where is 535! It's almost lunch time and I still haven't read any One Piece today.
