It's really impossible for Ichigo to win over Ulquiorra.
I'd say one of the captains will help him again. In this case, most likely Zaraki with Bankai can match Ulquiorra's power.
I do hope that Ichigo will lose totally just to let him know that his hollow power is not enough to stop Aizen.
He's just too arrogant and over-confident when he's in hollow mode. Always says things like "I'll finish this quick."
What about his father? We haven't seen him in a while and we know that he used to at least be captain level (possibly even above captain level if peoples suspicions about him being in Squad 0 are correct). Personally I wouldn't mind if he stepped in and saved Ichigo. Then we would also get a bit more back story on Ichigo's father as well.Originally Posted by yapchagi
Yeah come to think of it...it would be possible for his dad to be in Zero Squad. I mean even at the past mini-arc he was no where to be seen. And I doubt that he was already on earth by then. It would be awesome to see his dad helping him out and just totally kick ass. But I doubt it would be that easy.
As for one of the captains to help him...Byakuya isn't even ear that level of Ulquoria right now. Sure he defeated that other Espada but that doesnt mean that full power Byakuya can even hit Ulquoria.

last chapter Ulqi showed his oh-so-awesome and do-not-use-indoors transformation, and now he's using his oh-so-awesome and do-not-use-indoors cero.

I thought Aizen sealed HM off when he left? So anyone who is not already in HM coming to Ichigo's aid is unlikely. That said Kubo left himself an opening, Mayuri mentioned that the only one that would probably be able to get there is Urahara himself, so that is an interesting possibility. Anyway I think they would be far too preoccupied with the battle against Aizen to try to go to HM to rescue Ichigo and some stranded captians, at least I would be. I wouldn't mind Kisuke, Ryuken and Isshin showing up in HM though, that could be interesting.

So I guess it's only one of these captains (byakuya, Mayuri, Zaraki, the healing lady captain).
I would very much like to see Zaraki using his bankai or at least the healing lady captain bankai (since we haven't seen her bankai at all).
And Ichigo will end up being pawned again and that cute big boobs lady will heal him while the other hero fights Ulquiorra.
And then Yammy will come out again and mess things up like he usually does.
I don't like how Ulquiorra changed from cool and calculating to arrogant and haughty; it just seems out of style for someone like him. Now, he's just another generic enemy that just wants Ichigo to wallop him with all of his powerful moves, only to remind Ichigo that he's more powerful than him in every way. Anyway, this chapter was bleak because it only showed how far Ichigo can go with his Hollow mask against Ulquiorra's resurrección, so nothing new happens other than the usual new Cero implimentcation.

I just reread the chapter and I don't see what you're talking about Nad. I really don't think Ulquiorra's character has changed at all. He has always been arrogant and haughty, not unlike Byakuya.

This in particular is a line Byakuya always used and I think the fact that he acted like he was so above it all and looked down on everyone else is why Grimmjow hated him in the first place.
The thing about Getsuga and the cero didn't bother me because Ulquiorra has been comparing Ichigo to arrancars like himself since they first met. The similarities between Ichigo's abilities and that of the arrancars is why Aizen was interested in Ichigo in the first place. When I first read it though I couldn't help but think of Tyreal's post in the other thread.
Oh and I absolutely loved the fact that Ichigo is being completely overpowered, though that really doesn't bode well for the captains fighting the top 3.

Probably because I didn't want to see Ulquiorra turn out to be another Byakuya-type arrogance, but now replaced with the persona of having Ichigo use Getsuga Tenshō on him just so he can proclaim that he "is stronger than his Getsuga Tenshō." I don't know; something about Ulquiorra has changed, whether he's more arrogant and haughtier than he was before, or he's just lost his old cool and calculation personality when he used his resurrección.

I dont see where everyone is getting the Zaraki doing a bankai...he cant even reach shikai let alone bankai!!!
well, he probably won't do a Bankai, but ever since he fought Ichigo, we saw him ask his sword for it's name. and assuming Zaraki isn't a giant pussy fighter like Ichigo, he might just have the answer for that question. hence, we believe that Zaraki found his Shikai.
heck, it's a lot better explanation for a power up than "I'll use my other hand!".

Shikai? Muthafucker can't can't even talk to his Zanpakutō. How the hell is he supposed to get to bankai? I don't think he even needs it. He took down Noitra easily with only a few hits and was able to get something out of the deal with only his shoulder being slightly injured. Plus, what the fuck would it look like anyway? I mean he's pure melee. Another giant samurai guy like the 7th captain?\
Btw I'm typing this completely drunk off my ass right now.
