Actually, I'm not a big fan of this epoch, but I'm sure that this game will change my mind.
It looks great and for the first(?) time the campaign will also be playable in Multiplayer-matches.
If I'm not mistaken, the release date is the 4th March... I can't wait to see if this game is what it looks like

Especially the sea-fights

The Total War series were always goof, even though I've only played Shogun and a bit Medieval 2.

edit: Btw a (in my opinion) very cool feature in this game will be that historic-events will only occur if certain conditions are present...
for example if the "French Revolution" won't happen if people do not suffer...
or the United States of America won't develop if the rulers manage to keep up the public policy or supress the riots and so on.
