0 - Student
50 - Genin
200 - Chuunin
350 - ANBU
500 - ANBU Leader
750 - Jounin
1000 - Missing Nin
1500 - Hunter Nin
2000 - Mist Lord
2500 - Jinchuuriki
3000 - Sanin
Isn't it about time for a change? As i see it this forum isn't as naruto oriented as it used to be a new title would be a great way to spice things up around here.
Is it ok for us to post ideas on this thread or is this completely out of the question?
If you've got a good title scheme that suggests a hierarchy, go ahead and suggest it. I'll think about it ^_^
I've actually been paying basically no attention to that aspect, 'cause I'm more interested in things that are a little more dynamic, like the rep score tags. And then there's the fact that a whole bunch of people have ended up with rep-driven or contest-driven custom titles (you get that promotion at +1500 rep score). Just not a very compelling thing to think about.

Bleach isn't doing any better than Naruto. Moreover, at least Naruto manga readers still seem to like the story but Bleach manga readers aren't any happier than Bleach anime watchers.
If anything i'd go with a One Piece one.

Why does it have to do with a specific anime?
Gotwoot doesn't specialize in a specific anime so the titles should have to do with the forum itself
Since we'll be having the gotwoot awards soon, what if the new title had to do, directly or indirectly, with the corresponding "winners"; such as the best member of 2008 choosing the superior title or the title being changed to something that revolves about him.
This was you would be able to give prizes to the winners and the titles would be changed everytime we held another award thread, keeping things fresh.
i dont think anyone wants to keep changing titles every year, and im not sure how many people would care to have their 'hard earned' title be based one some member they dont even like.
I agree they should be more general and not anime related. Or if they are anime related, they shouldn't be based on specific anime but rather the overall anime culture. Lastly, as comp pointed out, any changes you guys suggest should be the same in number as our current system.
The ones suggest above stop at 2500 posts, whereas most memebrs are between 3000-10000 posts these days.
Well, generic GotWoot? titles like:
Nobody -- 0-49 posts.
Someone -- 50+ posts.
These would work and they are very flexible for anyone.
