HS ftw in my opinon. I was about to start a topic about this and ran into this. I say, what it took DB 200 episodes to do, HS will figure out next epidsode or two. Just go back to Db's start and compare the two. Night and day difference. I did notice a timing difference and the translations weren't as crisp, but still it didnt' take away from the actual anime, which is the whole point.

I believe patriot does not know, that HorribleSub is the ripped "TV-Tokyo" version from Crunchyroll and given to Crunchyroll by them
so it's a given that the subs are professional ^^

I wasn't aware of it either in the beginning until I trolled a bit on 4chan

So to make it clear, HorribleSubs are NOT fansubbing..

Taka's releases are fansubbed, so I'm getting these for the moment and their 720p release looks *really* good.
btw does anyone paid CR and downloaded an episode?
what quality does it have?... or can you choose which to download? (like 720p/1080p etc.)
