What a fitting end for Maximillian. I liked the ending since it was pretty happy, but the series had some rocky moments. Overall, it's a nice series.

Senjou no Valkyria 3 - PSN OVA 01
The first of the OVA series made for the third videogame on the Valkyria Chronicles series. The plot centers on a Gallian Squad called the 'Nameless' were deserters are usually thrown and discriminated.
The story takes place at the same time as the original Valkyria Chronicles... and chronologically speaking takes place at the 1st half of the game / series.
The translation is quite bad, but still understandable. I posted it since the OVA has been around for months and no one else had bothered to translate it.

As expected of a combat unit. Their coolness factor was a grade above Squad 7 with their good commander but green team.
Their tank was still a little hax in that it was capable of taking at least one direct hit from the enemy tank while being able to do them in with a direct hit themselves. Then there's also the whole mine-detonating run. Still, wasn't as bad as Elderweiss.
Chick in the tank (favourite character in this OVA by a large margin) > Isara OVA ver. (her hair seems shorter and eyebrows thicker in this OVA)
Reila (?) > Alicia. She's kind of like a healthy moderation between Alicia's personality and Selveria's body.

The Nameless are by far one of the best units in the Valkyria Chronicles universe (fuck you Sega for not localizing the game). Riela and Imuka are also two of my favorite characters. I bought their nendoroids recently actually.
Yeah, i'm playing though valkyria 2 right now and most of the characters just annoys me. V3 looks really good but judging from the sales of the first 2, it's doubtful that sega will ever localize it.
