    Wow....so like....

    I rewatched that scene in the anime and saw no reference whatsoever to that vice admiral being Akainu. It sure does suck when they leave details like that out

    Ah... so THAT is why I didn't recognize the scene... I started the manga after Thriller Bark... and haven't read past the start of Alabastra afterwards...
