I don't know how different (or much more popular) this thread will be than the "What are you listening to right now?" thread, but I guess it's worth a shot.

If I could ask everyone not to just post a video and then some dumb comment like "i like dis song lol". Please try and say something about it.

    Calexico - Two Silver Trees

I've heard that song on the radio a lot recently, so I decided to look it up. I love the singer's airy voice and the recurring Oriental riff/theme. I don't know what to compare this to at all.

Also, I'm pretty late on this one, but I've only just seen Warning, by Incubus. The girl in the video is creepy as hell. I also like the harmonies in the chorus.

<@Terra> he told me this, "man actually meeting terra is so fucking big", and he started crying. Then he bought me hot dogs

I didn't care much for Morning View but I have been listening to A Crow Left of the Murder lately. Megalomaniac is rockin'.

Bloodbath - Ways to the Grave

Mikael Akerfeldt is so awesome...Opeth, Bloodbath, is there anything this man can't do?

The Warning music video was enjoyable. I never knew one existed either... it must not have been very popular on MTV back in the day (or, at least, not when I watched).

    Here's my contribution:
    MSD - Masquerade

It's a live recording sadly, as they are a local band from around where I live, and do not have "official" music videos. The song is probably my favourite song by them off their most recent CD. Ironically, the video is from the CD release show for that very CD... and I'm in that crowd somewhere... but I can't find myself. I recommend looking around the related videos and listening to other material they have up.

It's dangerous to go alone. Take Nep.

I don't understand what this Metal gear Solid video has to do with "music".

are we supposed to post fan music videos now, or only the original... or both?

Maximum The Hormone - Koi no Mega Lover

    I'm loving their songs

I've never really been a fan of rap/hip hop, but this song is sick and so true.

There was that song by MxPx, not recent I know, but I think not really known:

Punk Rawk Show it was, there was another one too I can't remember.

Yesterday I stumbled upon a free music site (Gnu too?):
    http://www.jamendo.com
There are some pretty interresting things for those who like to search for themselves.

I'm not a music lover per se so I won't talk much about it. Most of the time I'm just angry at how poorly recorded CDs are...

All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.

This is the song that plays at the end of the game Portal. If you haven't played Portal and plan to, probably better not to watch it.

For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?

I loved everything about that song. Especially the part that lays into youtube/myspace drama whores.

"Bitch, hoes get pimped, not treated special."

My roommate just showed me this video:
    Elsaine - Vaporous

The girls voice is a little weird but this song is chill as fuck. I'm really starting to get into trip-hop.

    Elbow - Switching Off

This has probably entered my top 10 favorite songs ever. I've fallen asleep listening to this song almost every night for the past week or so. The music is haunting, and at the same time inspiring to me. The singer's voice and lyrics during the second and third chorus are gorgeous.

The whole thing is absolutely beautiful.
