    Your Favorite Games?

Couldn't find a thread like this. Been wondering though, the GW community is quite diverse in where people are from, as well as likes and dislikes. What does everyone consider their favorite games? Note, it can do absolute crap in ratings and reviews, but if you love it, you love it.

    1. Xenogears - Best RPG I've ever played. No story has even yet to come close.

    2. Skies of Arcadia - Probably one of the most complete JRPGs ever, only downside is how often random battles occur.

    3. Suikoden 2 - Great RPG. Really let you feel like you were the commander of a Liberation.

    4. Counterstrike - Spent so much time playing this in my teen years. LANs, internet cafes, friends home, at my own home.

    5. Redmoon - A really obscure and unknown Korean MMO that I used to play when I was younger. Just really enjoyed the way it played.

Very honorable mentions: Super Mario RPG, Final Fantasy 6, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and DotA (ahem).

Anything that has to do with Online play. Some examples are:

    1. Warcraft
    2. Starcraft
    3. Diablo II

They are addicting, and I can't stop playing them! I also play some games on the Wii, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, or Super Mario Galaxy. Wii Sports are also good to play too.
I am training in the shadows.
Currently playing: All of your games, probably.

Hmm I don't really have a few favorite games, but I do have favorite franchises.
Castlevania, these games are just gold
Resident evil, I've always really liked the RE series, and RE4 and 5 are pretty much some of the best games ever.
Metal Gear Solid, stealth espionage action, it nearly blew my mind when I first played it on the playstation
Devil May Cry, Stylish hack and slash action, even though DMC2 wasn't that good, DMC1 is still pretty amazing even today.

Then there is a bunch of fighting games that are really wicked, like Capcom vs Snk2 and Marvel vs Capcom 2, Soul Calibur and Virtua fighter 5. And ofcourse Tatsunoko and SF4 soon.

Played a bunch of RPG's ( at least one game from pretty much any series, cept persona ).
Even though Skies of Arcadia was good (freaking good), Grandia 2 is still THE rpg for me.
It may not be the best RPG ever, but it definitly is the one I enjoyed the most.

The list can go on and on ( zoe2, ninja gaiden etc..), but I'll finish with games that a enjoyed even though the average rating of them is meh.

Sonic the hedgehog, yes I said it, I actually liked this game, mostly cause of the upgrades you get if you play through the game, but yeah it was buggy as fck.
    The "Musou" franchise
These games should be in my favorites aswel cause I love these games to death, once you look past the graphics and see what the games really have to offer, they can mean 100+ hours of fun ( 130+ in sw2xl ;x).
It would be totally insane if they made a musou type game with the dead rising engine

    yeah.. crazy.

There are some more games, but most games I bought, or pretty much every game I bought aside from naruto: rise of a ninja, I don't regret buying at all

    Lets see...

    1) Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES (played it over 6 times including original version. Persona 4 is a MUST BUY for me)
    2) Valkyrie Profile (2nd was good, but not near this jewel)
    3) Star Ocean the 2nd Story (if Star Ocean 4 remains Xbox360 only... I'll buy an Xbox)
    4) .hack series (any of the 7. not the greatest game, true, but love the franchise)
    5) Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition (any RE of the main plot + Code Veronica are in my favs, but the Wii edition of 4 takes 1st place among them)
    6) Xenogears (also Xenosaga series)
    7) Final Fantasy Tactics (Original + A's series)
    8) Kingdom Hearts (1 and 2)
    9) Final Fantasy VIII (yes, EIGHT. the first FF I bought... not the first one I played though. Seven follows near. I own all FF from 7 onwards on the supposed first release... plus the re-releases or remakes of 1 through 6...)
    10) --Reserved Spot for Valkyria Chronicles and or White Knight Chronicles--

In no particular order (it would be too hard to choose):

    - Twisted Metal (1, 2, or Black)
    - Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (beaten it once a year since it came out)
    - Final Fantasy Tactics (one of the darkest, more enjoyable strategy rpgs to date)
    - Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (I liked 2 as well, but it just wasn't the same)
    - Guilty Gear XX
    - Dead or Alive 2 (tempted to add 4, solely for Kokoro)
    - Chrono Trigger
    - Chrono Cross (Harle is one of the greatest characters ever)
    - The Ace Attorney games (Phoenix Wright, especially #3, and Apollo Justice)
    - Final Fantasy 8 (the full orchestral score pushes it above the others for me)
    - Melty Blood: Act Candenza
    - Starcraft

Ah, how could I forget Lunar Star Story, and more importantly, the Baldur's Gate trilogy!

(the PC version, not the console dungeon crawler Diablo clone)

Yeah, Dark Alliance was really meh. I played Lunar: Silver Star Story (Yeah, what a name) and I adored it. It was cheesy as hell, but still.

The original Unreal Tournament was awesome. I used to kick my uncle's ass on it over LAN, then he'd be out after 30 minutes from motion sickness or something, he'd get dizzy or lightheaded.

I have 6 Boxes and 1 cd-cupboard full of old games... I'm sure if I rummage around a bit I'll be able to find some CD I've played for months..

    - Mech Commander 1+2
    - Half Life
