Unknowingly, yeah. He decided to save her, but I bet he never imagined she'd become his switch.

I hope he never recovers from his brain damage. Not only does the situation make him more human, but also more balanced in terms of power. Come to think it, I wonder if he's demoted from lvl5 because of this.

Ten is hugely significant in the long run. If you've been following popular physics discussions in the last few years, that means that eventually, Kuroko could teleport something and change everything about it. The laws of physics that govern it (internal structure), velocity vectors (she already has that), maybe even someone's history and personality. She could literally shift to a different reality/timeline. She'd probably give herself an aneurysm doing so...but she could do it. For her little bout with Musujime, it won't mean much because she's still a level 4 (which for Kuroko means seems more like she's actually able to use her complex ability with any kind of proficiency), but it could mean something amazing later on. It could potentially put her up on the same levels as the most powerful magicians.

I wonder if Mikoto was like that when she was young. I too think it's good that she's so carefree. Accelerator was really the first friend Last Order ever met, and Last Order was far too persistent to be driven off. Last Order also knew a bit (and Accelerator certainly told her to try and get rid of her) of how many of her sisters he killed. Saving her made them even, and now she and her network are back saving him from being a semi-veggie.

Not all the scientists were scumbags. The woman at least partially regretted her history and tried to make things better.

Me i wonder if he's closer to level 6 than ever before

He basically got hooked up to a super computer, all the calculations he had to do by himself should now come much easier to him

Just a cheap guess, but my take on Kuroko's ability is that "touch" limitation. Or at least it might be one of the steps to overcome in order to go to level 5.
An other point is that the other teleport user was extremely surprised Kuroko still had metal pins available. I'd have to rewatch the scene to know if it was just a mistake on her part, not counting right or missing that spot.
It's impossible to know by counting them. I tried. I think I also did try last season, but we do not really know how many there are.
It's just that maybe for those pins Kuroko does not need touching to teleport them in the holsters... that would mean she gets more and more control on her ability.

All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.

I don't know about that. Accel was grinding sisters to gather experience and served as an experience to explore his powers. More computation power isn't quite the same as that, and his previous prowess wasn't dependant on such a thing anyway.

The fact that he's still limping makes me question how much the Sister Network actually compensates for what he lost.

    edit:

I believe that when Kuroko doesn't need to touch objects, she'll have advanced to lvl5.

But no, Kuroko definitely needs to touch those pins of hers. I wondered at the significance of that scene too (where Musujime looked surprised/shocked). My first guess was that Kuroko landed a blow on her, but it was never confirmed. I really want to know what happened.

Here is where I disagree. I don't think he owes anything to the remaining sisters for what happened during the experiment. I don't think he even feels that way himself, despite disliking the slaughter. He is an evil dude and the imoutos aren't quite normal either, so it's a more or less moot debate in any case. Who knows whether Last Order decided to help him to repay or simply to be able to stay close to him.

If somebody really owes anybody anything, it's the scientists and whoever was backing them. In that sense I don't know why Mikoto is so worried: They would hardly be able to use the old subjects anymore and furthermore would make a really good target out of themselves.

I think the implications are that if they gathered the Remnants of the Tree Diagram, they could start the experiment all over from the beginning. However, I'm not even sure they mean that they would use the same participants. There are more than two Level 5's in the city. Mikoto is afraid of the Sisters getting used again, but Musujime was trying to tell her she should consider herself a victim and not get involved.

The one part that confused me was where Musujime and Mikoto were talking and Mikoto's line about, "Did that idiot think I wouldn't notice? Hearing such a fainthearted voice, it's just...horrible."

Does this mean she's getting some kind of feedback from the Sisters and Last Order? That she can hear them faintly in the distance, crying out in pain when they die or suffer? It's not out of the question given all the AIM field stuff that can go on, we have even had a consciousness or two form from it. The connection might be even stronger because they're all clones. Like the strange kind of stuff with twins. If so, it makes sense why Musujime telling Mikoto that she should just let it be would only serve to piss her off more.

Haha, Accelerator's goddamn Yoda now!! xD

Looks like he's picked up close combat from Touma too, unless he purposely chose that so his projectiles won't get teleported away. Musujime could have teleported Accelerator a few miles away then go into hiding if she wasn't scared shitless.

A whole novel wrapped up in two episodes? And well done? Awesome.

I was slightly dissapointed that Kuroko didn't learn about the existance of the SISTERS but oh well. It was awesome anyway.

Accelerator rocked. And Last Order is very cute. I, like Ryll, wonder if Mikoto was like this when younger.

The action sequence when Kuroko was being saved lost me a bit. Mazui's release said that Musujime was going to teleport 4 tons of stuff to hit the building and collapse it - but what was shown didn't make too much sense. (the translation made me think of an asteroid collision).

Touma's "cancel" made it look like a Musujime was after replacing or removing Kuroko's building instead.

She didn't say she was going to teleport 4 tons on top of it, only that she could. I assumed that what she was teleporting was the whole building.

What i felt was confusing was how her trauma was never explained and neither was her mental breakdown after shooting Kuroko

Still, good arc. The preview shows a staggering amount of new boobs, Friday can't come soon enough.

The episode did explain this. Kuroko mentioned her trauma came from having a bad teleport. She even suggested (and may already know it) that Musujime may have teleported herself within an object. Which happened as well when she fought Accelerator... she teleported towards a glass and one embedded inside of her.

Regarding her breakdown... it came down to her fear and hate of her own powers. She said powers were evil... Kuroko gave her the speech of how powers aren't evil, but those that use them for evil. One speech later and the girl breaks down because she know its right.

So what good does teleporting a building do? Except maybe throwing it up in the air and having it crush Kuroko who is within it on the landing?

What does the novel actually say about this? While I do think she's trying to teleport the building too, since that makes the most sense judging from what happened, it doesn't quite match up with what she said.

edit: looking back, she mentioned collapsing the building. I can only assume she's talking about destroying the structure like what Kuroko's pillar cutter did. I can settle with that then.

I don't think that's what happened. If she teleported with a bit of glass inside her, then she'd be vomiting up blood, not simply gastric fluid. It looked like the normal trauma reaction to me. Even though it's not the exact same power, Kuroko explained that teleporting displaces whatever was originally there with whatever you teleported. That means she'll replace the glass, not the other way around.

She could teleport it half an inch in whichever direction, after severing the foundations it would just collapse under its own weight or possibly tilt over

My understanding of the building crushing scene was that she was teleporting the 4250kgs.
But it wasn't instantaneous like it usually is, for whatever reason.
So Mikoto created an opening with her railgun, Touma then used his ninpo to jump from flying objects to the others to climb that multi-storey building in a matter of seconds, just in time to cancel the teleportation and catch the falling Kuroko to save her.
