The song was in the Tales of the Abyss game too. Although in the US version, we just got the instrumental and no vocals.

Edit: In other newsThe official website and Twitter account of the Toaru Majutsu no Index (A Certain Magical Index) anime franchise confirmed on Sunday that a theatrical film adaptation has been green-lit. The announcement was made at a stage event during the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2011 on Sunday, and more details will be provided in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko Magazine on October 11.

Another movie confirmed for 2013 apparently
Was the first movie just a retelling of the TV series?
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
What first movie?
Ah, never mind. Misread the magazine date as the premier date.
If it's not Isuzu-chan Mii~
See? I knew it was a stupid misunderstanding because you were the on asking, Bill
You've become predictable.
Meh... I want another season instead of a filler movie. Things were about to get good... and its not like we don't have enough material... as it is, 14 novels remain un-animated.
Just watched the second season of Index, and I thought it was quite weak. Nothing much to add to previous sentiments already shared. Though I must say, Index is a horrible character and annoying as heck.
So there's this and I hope it is true.

Let's hope it's true. It would be jolly news indeed!
Fake news.
Peace.
Are you going to tell me Half-Life 3 is coming out soon too?
Very excited if this is true though, the later Index arcs should be guaranteed entertaining.
Season 3 Episode 1
--- -- - -----
The beginning of the episode (after the useless recap) felt kind of disjointed and fillerish. It was more like the director wanting to cram every single familiar character in just to remind the audience of their faces. Worse still, it had lots of of Misaka, who, I've heard, doesn't have much of a role in the actual story of the season, so it felt like mere fishing audience with the best character. Then, suddenly, the episode floored the gas pedal, and we were in France before we knew it.
I don't expect super much from this show, but it's hard not to watch it for old times sake. I still hate Index herself as much as ever, though.
