Personally I found the episode so boring the scene I enjoyed the most was Index's at the end. Her spell counter is really good, but like Ryll I question why she didn't use it against Stiyl. Its this very same Index after all, not a memory wiped new one.

I wanted Touma to touch Hyouka, lol.

Good episode, and I can't blame Index for not being able to combat that golem effectively since Touma did destroy her system the first time around. However, Hyouka's explained position was very lonely, since she couldn't even interact with anyone and never had a friend until she met Index, and decide to become a bait for her cause.

Agreed pretty much 100%. I did enjoy Index rockign it. It was quite a surprise and a good one at that. That said I did enjoy the techno soundtrack that was playing in the back at the very beginning of the episode even before they showed the opening theme.

We can compare Index to cracker and spells to PC. She could "hack" the golem if it was controlled directly from magician(just like man in the middle wi-fi attack), but it was impossible when it changed to automatic mode(just like turning off wi-fi in case of this attack).
Overall good ep, but the damned techno beginning nearly made me stop watching this...

    Index not whining........................................... ...............win
Index breaking down the opponent's spell.........................win
Index casting commands in a confident voice....................win
Index showing some leg as she draws a gun safety pin......win

Index was totally cool how she handled the golem. Too bad it'll probably be a one-off thing.
I've got a feeling Hyouka will disappear again, but who knows - The Touma's-Harem Fraction only seems to grow with each encounter.

It also seems like grenades are a foreign concept in the science city. Lobbing one ot two at the magician should do the trick, rather than ineffectively blasting the golem.

That would make it too easy!

Good enough place as any to post this:

    Sure to make RZ melt...

Through RandomC, AnimeNewsNetwork (site as of 11:15pm GMT is down) is reporting that To Aru Kagaku no Railgun with get an anime adaptation

This was announced at the end of episode 24 of the series in a flyer image.

    (Image shamelessly ganked from RandomC)

It does look promising and indeed a great addition to the usual Indexless show, except we get more of Mikoto and Kuroko this time around!

    I see I see

I hope the series gets released this year. I will be a very happy RZ if that happens.

And I see good chances for a 2nd Season of Index after this. We still have 13 more novels to cover

Nice. It would be good to get a break from the current storyline too just to keep everything dynamic.

21:49 to 22:03 was the best scene on the episode.
Im beginning to suspect neither Mikoto nor Kuroko did appear on this novel, for they really did nothing, just appear for us viewers. On the other hand... maybe it was just for Mikoto to meet the Magic Wikipedia...

Last Order was sleeping while resting besides Accelerator. So I guess she still remembers she stood by his side, even after her reboot.

Only character to not have a scene on the ending was Kanzaki. Wonder what really happened to her, specially after Stiyl's conversation with the Archbishop. Wait... there is another missing character... MISAKA Imouto 10032...

Cromwell was pathetic and dissapointing. Hyoka's best scene was dissapearing.

Magic Wikipedia should get a job if she wants to eat, the freeloader.

Wohoo!!! To Aru Kagaku no Railgun... A Certain Scientific Railgun!!

Not a very strong ending, but certainly better than some animes. Indeed, I am awaiting this next session of "Railgun". I hope that they animate it soon.

The episode was okay... nothing too dull, and nothing too fancy. Touma sure knew how to remember important details and deliver a fatal punch that created a crater at where Sherry landed. Aside from that though, Touma and Hyouka's odd moment together was kind of funny when Touma tried really hard not to touch her with his right hand and the shower scene.

Those two scenes were very WTF moments. And of the bad kind.

How the fu** did Sherry end creating a crater just because Touma hit her? Come on... that was plainly idiotic.

The hug scene... all through it I kept encouraging Touma to touch her. LOLz.

    Shower scene!!! *nosebleed*

I knew it that this guy in the tube was Aleister Crowley!
Pretty good episode but I'm fixated again on Crowley thanks to it... now i really must get his Book IV. Rest was said already.

And don't tell me you don't know who Crowley is...

The Kuroko/Mikoto scenes were definitely the highlight of this episode for me. As soon as she went, "Oh my!" I knew what was coming. I loved the very deliberate and unconvincingly accidental way she said it too.

Hyouka redeemed herself quite a bit these last two episodes, but she's fairly boring aside from the arc she appears in...speaking of which, we already have one Himegami, we don't need another.

I did enjoy how it seemed to be a setup for the inevitable next season, and with supposedly a great deal more material to go, we won't really have any need for fillers aside from the occasional omake episode.
