Well, now that we know Accelerator isn't a complete psycho, a Touma Fraction could really become powerful. I'm trying to figure out if he was simply acting psychotic/crazed, or whether he was really like that until his defeat lead to some introverted thinking.
Reason being that he's wondering what's changed as people are attacking him. To the audience, it's obvious that it's because he no longer looks like he'll rip someone's dick off or something if they look at him the wrong way.

But I wasn't referencing Hidoi's translation, but rather the black frame of the pages. Aren't this usually used to reference flashbacks?
Translation of "MISAKA wa, MISAKA wa [...]" was as correct as possible. its immposible to literaly translate everything from japanesee, ok its possible but it would be like:
"MISAKA statement telling that this is the subject of sentence(i have no idea how to translate this from polish most correct would be"If it comes to her/me"), MISAKA, if it comes to me, when, where etc statements here, does something".
So if this type of repeating would be made in english it would be like
"I do smth, I do smth [..]"
overall good episode - but MISAKA's speech was really annoying to me. Accelerator, even if we had seen some reasons for his actions(as MISAKA 20001 pointed out), it still seems to me as wierd change of character - why he had went berserk from begining against Touma? i can understound part after getting hit for first time in his whole life, but before that he was trying to kill Touma pretty hard too, and as we had seen in this ep if he fights normal guys he just dosen't bother to attack such small fries.
His new character seems like lazy guy acting cold with good-guy type personality deep inside him(if he was as cold as he seems he could just let MISAKA's get berserk).

MISAKA x2 was certainly annoying. It was bad enough with the mature MISAKAs but this was so well over the limits it's a wonder the voice actor herself wasn't driven crazy by it. I hope she will have less lines in the next episode.
Accelerator's change was for sure interesting. If we belive MISAKA, then it could actually be the dude was a minor bully in the beginning and agreed to the 20000 kills plan without much thinking, but started to get sick of it at some point, and gradually turned off some of his sensibilities to cope with it. Consequently he then gave off the kind of crazy feeling we got in the earier episodes. Now that he's spared from the continuous massacres, he's probably somewhat empty, but still more responsive when he doesn't need to go out killing every day.
I actually like his character better this way.
Having to go through and kill 10,000 (the amount he actually killed) is bad enough. I wouldn't be able to do that and see gorey bodies bloodied and twisted every way, ten thousand times.
So Accelerator is able to fine tune his shield against light (UV and hair pigment comment)
He also gets himself a loli, that is as annoying as Index.
He's easy to play with, that scientist easilly had him choose the loli option.
I also think he could enter the faction and he's a nice combo with Touma, provided he can overcome the fact he's been beaten by Touma of course.
The fact he was beaten by Touma, has every dumbasses think they can do the same.
Thing is they think wrong in only seeing Touma as powerless. So they get beaten by their own idiocy.
Problem is that there are lots of them that keep coming, so it's a bit annoying over time.
I'm starting to think he may also have lots of minor bad luck happenings like Touma.
Why? maybe because he reflects good luck as it tries to enter his life...

I don't think that was a surprise to anyone. The discussion a while back was whether he would be able to create quantity (intensity) limits for light. Now it appears he filters all UV. Also, lack of control is also suggested by the fact when he filtered Index, also chibi MIKOTO got filtered, so it's probable he filtered a whole sound of range at once (some kilohertzes, wherever loli voices reside).Originally Posted by David75

Well, depends on how he blocks UVs, if only the harmfull ones, or everything altogether. But I guess Kraco is right, he blocks everything, or he'll have some pigments.

the rest sounds nice here and there but it's somewhat boring if you listen to them without watching the anime

Man all I can say is Accelerator is a badass! I hope he does not retain any permanent damage though!
It was nice to see Accelerator have some heroic feat in his personality and being able to reverse the flow of data back to its preset pool? That's a pretty neat feature for one of his abilities, though not surprising.
I knew something about that doctor was fishy, but didn't realize he was part of the whole plan. Anyway, nice wrap-up episode of Accelerator.

From the looks of things, he's not only got a really hax ability, but some uber computation power too (whether this translates to being "smart", who knows).
The way he read the data before then compared to the infected was more like analysing the current electron positions and redirecting them to fit the original pattern he has in mind. The way he looks at code and can calculate wind speed, his own mind doesn't seem to be short of a computer itself - wiring it up to the MISAKA network doesn't seem to be too hard a job.
I'm just wondering what'll happen to them now. Are they going to be idle in tanks providing Accelerator with thought power, or walking around and all while letting Accel share resources?
The doctor was interesting too. The way they call him the "Heaven Canceller", and in his own words "going to the battle field and returning with the patient" sounds like his powers allow him to actually battle with Fate somehow.

edit: I don't think the doctor was "part of the whole plan", but he seems to be acquainted with the wounded researcher and has some knowledge about their little experiment.

It does finally explain why Touma comes home from the hospital in perfect health each time he gets really greviously injured. No one else would be able to reattach an arm cut off like that.
As long as he doesn't hurt his right hand I suppose...
