I'm suggesting that she's lying about the eyes. Luffy hasn't turned to stone yet, so either those eyes don't exist or Luffy has an immunity for some reason.

Thats what I was thinking. I think he has an immunity to it. Oda wouldn't make the amazons tell a story about the empress, then lie about it. So I think Luffy has an immunity to it of some kind.
