You shouldn't hide it, makes you look guilty.
“For God will not permit that we shall know what is to come... those who by some sorcery or by some dream might come to pierce the veil that lies so darkly over all that is before them may serve by just that vision to cause that God should wrench the world from its heading and set it upon another course altogether and then where stands the sorcerer? Where the dreamer and his dream?”
I have a feeling niax works for the RIAA
btw that question is actually relevant to my interest.. is it actually necessary?

could it be some kind of bot here? 1 post, such a short question, no please, thanks and a list of "possible?" solutions?
I may be a bit touchy here... but I find it strange.
All the things I really like to do are either illegal, immoral, or fattening. And then: Golf.
I don't see a reason for a bot should ask such a question?
(and actually, I don't see a reason for hiding your IP either, that's why I'm asking myself why I should hide it?)

cover it with a blanket, no one will find it under there.
There should be plenty of good articles written on this subject.
well most tools don't hide your IP (peer guardian does not for example), it simply doesn't allow communication with servers on the black list, but your IP is still visible.Originally Posted by Buffalobiian
it's only usefull against data collection and it might allow you to dl faster (because you don't have to connect with all the servers)

That one doesn't, but Torrentprivacy supposedly does. I haven't even heard of the rest of them.Originally Posted by KrayZ33

and... do you use it? it cost money doesn't it?
Nah, I've only heard the name, and did some googling when I saw this thread. I don't need it. Last time I heard, Australian ISPs weren't very co-operative with the Copyright industries.Originally Posted by KrayZ33
