    TV: Ghost Whisperer

Just spent the last couple of weeks watching the 3 seasons of this show, and I guess it's an alright series. Nothing spectacular, though it can get repetitive and boring at times... but to tell you the truth, I spent half the series staring at Jennifer Love Hewitt's knockers.

Series got a bit better after season 2, especially with the introduction of the character Proffesor Payne played by Jay Mohr, and I think this has been his best acting job from what I've remeber of him. I've never found him to be funny, but I think he was pretty good in this show.

Well, anyone has seen this show or watches this show? Season 4 starts in October 3.

Melinda Gordon is a young newlywed with the unique ability to communicate with the earthbound spirits of people who have died, and who seek her help. Melinda uses her gift to relay significant messages and important information to the living, but sometimes the messages she receives are intense and confusing. As a result, she is often met with questions and skepticism by the survivors. But when Melinda is able to help both the lost souls who contact her and those who are still alive, she knows that her unique talent is an asset and not a liability.

Opening Narration: "I just got married. I just moved to a small town. I just opened an antique shop. I might be just like you. Except from the time I was a little girl I knew I could talk to the dead. Earthbound spirits my grandmother called them. The ones who have not crossed over because they have unfinished business with the living and they come to me for help. To tell you my story, I have to tell you theirs."

i catch this show every now and then, when i'm bored and there's nothing else to watch. it's mildly entertaining, but really, it's just a knockoff of medium, which is a much better show.

Completely agree... Medium is very good. It looks like they're going to shake things up a bit starting with season 4 of GW, which hopefully will make things a bit more interesting. The end scene of season 3 suggested that someone among them is going to die... Myself, I hope it's Jim, since I think he sucks. But maybe it'll be Payne since he might be leaving the show. We're also getting a new character played by Jamie Kennedy, who I think will bring some fun to the show.

We'll see. But yeah, Medium is awesome.
