    TV: Virtuality

Ron Moore of Battlestar Galactica fame, among other good drama/sci-fi series, is making another series other than the BSG spin-off Caprica. It's known as Virtuality, and by the looks of it, it could be a good one.

I don't know when it's coming out yet, but it looks like it'll be a FOX show. Certainly it'll be out at some point in 2009... but I guess it's not too early to discuss this a bit of this.

It starrs Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (New Amsterdam), Sienna Guillory (Eragon), Clea DuVall (I fucking hate her; hope they raplace her), Nelson Lee (Blade: The Series).

The story is set aboard the Phaeton, Earth's first starship, on a ten-year journey to explore a distant planetary system. In order to help the crew endure the long mission, a system of virtual reality modules is installed aboard the starship. These modules allow the crew to assume various identities and enjoy a variety of adventures, until a flaw is discovered in the system.

Apparently this won't be picked up for series. Last Friday FOX aired the pilot movie, and it was barely watched (probably because of all the Michael Jackson specials), so I doubt this show has any chance.

    Here's the pilot anyways:

Haven't seen it yet, but people seem to have enjoyed it.

damn, a really kool new concept.....and coming from the minds behind bsg, im sure it'll kick ass. I hope it gets picked up, but being on fox puts the chances to near zero.

It kicks ass, the concept is rich and fantastic. Virtual stuff, IA, Space, Ship, Crew, Real Tv, Tension

man I thought this had bad acting, specially from the commander. Although I did not understand the end where he was on the horse in the outfit of the civil war.
